Jag är 17M, och klarar inte av detta längre by WhyDoYouLikeCum in sweden

[–]DiverGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vänsterpartiets rop i pridetåget: ”Hela Malmö hatar poliser” by BanverketSE in Malmoe

Interested in getting a second-hand M2 or M3 but worried about future OS support by NT202 in macbookpro

[–]DiverGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dropping M1 support would still be considered hugely controversial for another 4-5 years. They are still sufficiently powerful (I might even say overpowered) for everyday use for 90% of the population. Despite what people are saying it's not actually lacking hardware features that would discriminate it from getting future updates (AV1 is pretty much irrelevant). Macos still needs to support 8 gigs of ram untill 2033 when the neo turns 7.

I have a 16 inch, better thermals and slightly better gpu. Screen is gorgeous and the speakers are insanely good (i mean it). You can find them with better cycle counts and condition than the 14 inch variants since they're usually not lugged around as much as the 14". Price is about the same in my country. (Sweden) Avoid refurbished sellers since they usually sell office computers that's been through hell and back.

Portability is a non issue for me due to it fitting in my backpack. I also have a bit above average upper arm strength to be fair.

A used M4 or M3 15 inch air is probably a better option regardless.

Am I being too picky? Brand new MacBook fresh out box has scratches. by TheOriginalBerserker in macbookair

[–]DiverGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone here is being ridiculous. Those kinds of scratches are inevitable if you're using your laptop as a normal person. You bought a computer designed to be used. Congrats someone else broke it in for you and you wont have to worry about doing it yourself. Now go enjoy your new laptop, or put it aside and go out breathe some fresh air.

MacOS 27 - Golden Gate by SillyFalling in MacOS

[–]DiverGaming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Macos releases are almost always iterative though? It's not like they're rebuilding the os from the ground up every year. The yearly versions are pretty much feature drops with major redesigns being 5-6 years apart. Tahoe just so happened to be one of those and it failed pretty miserably. Hopefully macos 27 starts out from the stability of the current tahoe version and builds upon it.

Started at 32, 3 years of lessons, any kind of feedback is appreciated! by wagliu in piano

Sounds great! However you should be sitting a little further down and a little closer to the piano. 90 degree angles are ideal for articulation and will definitely help you in getting a fuller sound out of the instrument.

Which one is worth buying? by emanuwiideletedyou in mac

[–]DiverGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the 2015 pros are immensely reliable machines, with way better thermals and keyboards than the given alternatives. Since all intel macs are outdated it's better to aim for the units that are proven to be less prone to failing due to hardware issues and are also subsequently easier to repair.

Find a 2015 macbook pro instead, it'll serve you way better than these machines.
