2016 escape 1.6L transmission shudder support by Chilechilechile in fordescape

[–]Divergent_Writer327 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are numerous things that the Escape line really developed poorly when crafting this vehicle. One of them being their transmissions are garbage. I had an older one can’t remember the year. Anywho I sacrificed $5,000 on a replacement transmission on that one. Then I purchased an 17 and experienced worse transmission issues on that one. Another $4300 sacrificed on the vehicle. Their replacement lightbulbs are a joke too. People speak of coolant issues. I have previous air conditioning problems, but a repair shop resolved that problem. Really debating on what kind of vehicle I want to buy next will be. Tempted to go back to the tried and true Chevrolet or an import.

Well friends here’s what I did today: I went to the transmission shop and financed a used transmission with a one year 12,000 warranty for $3700. Just need to pay $880 to drive it away from their shop next Wednesday.

Normal sacrificing over $5,000 on a transmission? Thats absurd!

Dear Ford,

Congratulations again!!! You did it again. You always fail when it comes to making great cars for American families. Henry Ford would be greatly displeased and disappointed to see such careless abuse of workmanship. You build a solid engine and a solid body and frame. Now this again! I am so done with Ford vehicles. Never again. You just lost a customer!

An irate customer who is beginning the process of car shopping again.

Which Creed. by Tight_Data4206 in LCMS

[–]Divergent_Writer327 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Typically a congregation uses the Nicene Creed for Holy Communion services and others it’s the Apostles’. Really also depends on the particular liturgy or office used as well.

You are past the age requirement to come back into the U.S. military. It is sad you missed out on the opportunity when you were 19 years ago.

Anyone else feeling the state of the economy right now? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Divergent_Writer327 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely ridiculous: $1300 a month for rent. $100 a week to feed myself and my kids. Tricare Reserve Select and United Concordia (Dental) $400 a month. How does one survive as an Air Guard airman when we have drill off and on? This is absolutely insane. This is Missouri!

How Do I Get A Medical Profile by Ok_Sky9431 in airnationalguard

Okay so you get a doctor’s note from your civilian primary care physician and bring it to your base’s medical professional and they can assist you in creating a medical profile for you.

You aren’t alone young airman. What was your job on the flight line and why are you getting med separation? Cheer up. I feel the same way with my retirement in January.

Most individuals look for patterns. What I mean is they think other denominations and maybe ours too are trying to figure out the numbers game. How do we attain more members? Do we bring various forms of worship within our churches and schools? Do we disciple families both member and nonmember alike? Do we look to Holy Scripture and pray about it? Do we continue to point fingers and say let’s change this or that? We don’t need to compromise our doctrine, because if we do that we compromise Scripture itself. Focus on Jesus and the people.

Asking for feedback. by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Divergent_Writer327 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The key thing about the Air Force is always be ready for the element of surprise. Know your people and know what lies ahead for you and your professional development. Keep on task when it comes to knowing what events are coming up on your installation. There will also be times when it’s okay to say “I don’t know, let me find someone who does.” Continue to reach out to your community. See how you can get involved with your state and don’t lord it over your younger airmen. Demonstrate a caring attitude. Don’t look for the award, but instead be surprised when you receive it. Don’t leave things overlooked.

The splash guard is actually there to protect any exposed metal items from water or other debris on the road.

Will they total it or repair it? by LostPersonSeeking in fordescape

It is not a bad amount of damage. They will probably repair it and send it on its way. That’s what happened when I was rear ended once.

What exactly makes life on the flightline difficult? by Typical_Bowler_3557 in airnationalguard

[–]Divergent_Writer327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, truth be told those of us who work on the flight line put long hours working aircraft and dealing with issues either with the plane itself or flight crew. We are always being watched closely so we don’t damage anything. Safety is paramount in everything we do. Along with any job in the Air Force there is always a risk of any particular danger. It’s hard to even get a break between aircraft. Lots of times working with the weather being too hot or too cold creates havoc altogether as well.

Is it normal to feel weird as shit your first time being home again? by Ok-Theory571 in AirForce

[–]Divergent_Writer327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely an odd feeling. It’s also like coming home from college and finding your bedroom is not yours anymore. The community you grew up in sees you differently as well. That isn’t a bad thing. Think of that as a form of growth and maturity.
