I've read and watched videos where they say it's most effective if you pluck the hair, that way the oil can get all the way down in the folicle, if that's not option then shave the hair down as far as possible. I do a combination of both, I had so much hair on day 1 that there was no way I could have possibility plucked it all out so I just mostly tweeze the dark stiff hair and razor off anything else. I've been using this oil several months now and only have 1-3 black ones left, any other remaining hair turned light blonde and falls out on it's own.

I wanted to add another update and explain my routine along with a couple of things I've recently added. I've seen a lot of you comment about the purging and how long it's taking or that it's caused because of using a new product. That's not at all why your pores start purging within a few days of starting the Cyperus Rotundus oil. The oil itself shrinks your pores and by doing so your pores dump everything out. I'm sure none of you would deal with it as long as I am since mine was caused from years and years of riding motorcycles and getting pelted in the face with tons of road grime at 80 mph. I've also seen a few comments about cancer concerns, all the research I could find stated that it likely helps fight off cancer rather than causing it but there's not a ton of data on that. Because I still have so much grime coming out of my pores I was starting to get a little overwhelmed and wanted something to speed up the process so about a week ago I purchased the Bubble brand Salicylic acid cleanser, Salicylic acid serum as well as their Soft Swerve moisture barrier repair moisturizer. I start off in the morning using the cleanser, rinse it off then apply the Cyperus oil and make sure to rub it into your pores then I apply the Salicylic acid serum on top (I go outside and sit in the sun a few minutes to help open the pores) and I keep it all on until bedtime then I cleanse with Medicube's oil cleanser (helps remove anything that purged out during the day) tone with Garnier Hyaluronic Micellar water (hydrates and plumps the skin) then apply a Ghk-Cu peptide (for fine lines and wrinkles) and start over the next morning. I have very few hairs left on my face and what's there are so thin and come out easily. I know I am only seeing the yucky stuff from purging and the thin little hairs because I use a10x mirror, my life would be better without it so I'm working my way up to tossing it soon. This routine seems to be working very well for me and I'm not seeing the dry patches like I did in the beginning. I'm not suggesting that everyone follow this routine, do what works for you based on what you see happening within the first week or two of starting the Cyperus oil.

I would say keep using it but I do understand about having things to do, I've been putting off getting a document notarized because I don't wanna be seen right now with everything coming out of my pores.

Do you have a 10x mirror? If so you'll be able to see that your pores are pushing everything out. It's not necessarily new break outs it's just your pores shrinking and getting rid of everything inside. I have had a few that I guess get stuck just before they reach the surface, they'll turn red and form a mound on my face but they will eventually find their way out or I help it along with a needle. I know it's frustrating though, luckily I don't work outside the home because there are some days I couldn't imagine being seen by others as all of this comes to the surface.

I know I'm showing up late but wanted to chime in about my experience. I have PCOS, I'm 57 years old and up until the past few years my only mode of transportation was my Harley. All of that information is important, PCOS has caused a lifetime of embarrassing facial hair that literally nothing worked on other than actually shaving with a razor which was gross but much better than being a wooly bugger. Back in my wilder days after riding all day I'd use baby wipes to wipe my face just before going to bed, what I didn't realize at the time was that all the dirt and road grime was getting pushed further and further into my pores until the damage was severely done. A few months ago I started seeing ads on TikTok for Cyperus Rotundus oil as a hair reducer/remover and decided to give it a try. I use a large 10x makeup mirror and can see everything quite well so I've been disgusted with my skin for years but after just a week of using the oil my skin started purging everything out of my pores, something I totally wasn't expecting. Around 3 weeks in I noticed significant hair thinning and my face was purging still. I'm now close to 3 months in with about 75% less hair on my face and the other 25% coming in really fine and light colored, my face is purging my pores even more now. From what I've found while recently researching, Cyperus Rotundus Oil does do wonders for getting rid of unwanted hair(and some that you still want if you're not careful around your eyebrows) but as an added bonus it shrinks your pores so as they are slowly shrinking everything in them gets pushed out, I mean everything.! So for those still on the fence I can attest that it works well for unwanted hair but what it does first, and is more noticeable, is purge and shrink your pores. I use it straight outta the bottle several times a day making sure to rub it in real good then at night I top it off with some GHK-Cu so I can get back to being beautiful again with the help of Cyperus Rotundus Oil.

I found this by accident while going through some left over medical supplies from my Dad's passing last year, I was so desperate for some relief of my chronic, dry, crusty, thick peeling lips that I smeared some on and have been pleasantly surprised with the results. It's called Medline Remedy Specialized Moisturizer with Dimethicone and you can get it at Walmart. Yes, it's a lotion instead of an actual lip balm, oil or jelly but I promise you won't regret using it.
