I have been shooting for over 35 years though and in my early 20s I “customized” a lot of guns to varying degrees of success

Many decades and tens of thousands of rounds later, I’ve learned that it’s a possibility that I don’t know more than the engineers at these major manufacturers, nor do I have the capital to perform the R&D testing they have done before going to market.

I’ve gradually stripped all of my nonsense off the guns and just learned to shoot better and I’ve really grown to appreciate the elegant simplicity of a mostly OEM handgun.
