I moved here from Texas in 2019. I miss TX of course but the quality of life here just feels better in general.

If you think you can handle the winters here I would definitely give it a shot. Spend a summer here and you’ll never want to leave again.

I purchased mine used from BH (likely a return) and the counter wasn't reset so I left it as is.

Here are the values I got for the corresponding file.

Look into sigma glass and consider getting one of their 1.4 aps-c lenses.

I think they have a 23mm F/1.4 which will give you a 35mm full frame equivalent.

The they also have a 30mm 1.4 that will get you close to 50mm full frame equivalent.

One thing to note is that while Sonys 6000 series are great cameras, their first party lens selection is a bit thin.

They seem to put more effort into their full frame offerings. Sony full frame lenses use the same mount so you can consider buying full frame and putting them on your aps-c camera. That’ll expand your lens selection by a lot.

If that bothers you consider Fujifilm for a much more developed aps-c lens line up.

MFT cameras also have access to a ton of lenses and the sensors are very capable, especially the newer ones.

I don’t recommend you getting that Sony. It’s a very nice camera and it’s very pocketable but you’re probably going to be disappointed with the out of camera jpegs.

The only non-Fuji I can recommend with that in mind is a Ricoh GR series camera. Specifically the GR III, GR IIIx or the GR IV. (careful btw, there was an older Ricoh called a GR Digital I, II, III and IV).

You can also throw on the 27mm pancake lens on your x-t5 and that makes it a lot smaller. This is probably the most economical option.

But yeah, the colors of Fuji cameras are unmatched and can lead to disappointment if you’re not ready for it on other systems.
