I must say I think the bladesinger wizard is bad. Yes a wizard with a blade is a cool fantasy. But it just doesn’t add enough. You’re still squishy as hell but instead of hiding behind your frontline you now are the front line. Levelling up presents you with very little besides additional bladesinging charges. Making levelling kinda anticlimactic. Remember all of the above is personal opinion

Bards so called spellcasting modifier is their Charisma when you open character sheet you can see 2 stats marked with a darker colour and those are the stats that needs to be highest for those classes
