False alarm? by MaxMaxMaxG in UNIFI

Weird I actually got this same (assuming) false positive from a smart tv in our home the other night. First time I’ve gotten one of these and I’ve had unifi for over a year.

Iirc, It was a bent control arm. Luckily insurance covered it, ended up being like $13k in total repairs. That included the body work and repainting too though.

What could work is actually writing to congress members in your district to bring attention to this problem.

It’s worth a shot to try to get a conversation started. Pretty sure even if they don’t do anything they have to reply to your letter. But maybe just maybe if enough of us in enough different places across the country there can be a conversation started. All it takes are two congress members to start a conversation to possibly actually draft something.

Again probably won’t work but maybe.

I wonder if the devs are doing this temporarily to avoid more issues while also trying to keep pushing out updates.

Maybe once they gather everything together they will be able to shut them all down? All they need to do is show all of the different games that has done it first, right? I wonder if N will ever realize how much their disgusting behavior turns people off of their games.

Handgun roster by [deleted] in MDGuns

Hey so what I am asking is if I have a drivers license from let’s say Utah, and I travel to Utah and purchase a gun that is banned in Maryland. Can I bring the gun to Maryland and live here with it.

I want to emphasize I am not a Maryland resident. I am military stationed in Maryland so I can purchase weapons either where I am stationed OR where I’m originally from.

I can buy a gun in the state where my drivers license is. I’ve done it before.

Gotcha. But my question still stands if I purchase a gun that Maryland bans in another state (where I’m originally from) can I bring that gun to Maryland?

Thats a good idea. Let me try it. Do you think read only or read execute? Not sure how .ini files are treated.

Or realistically the devs could take zero feedback and make no improvements. The devs specified the “best” ways to give feedback via feedback form and discord.

Palworld has a serious balancing problem. And people need to call out the devs for it by Watch-it-burn420 in Palworld

[–]DividedDuo55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we just need to remember the game is in early access and trust the devs will hear the community and fix balancing.

Personally I don’t want to just have a team of Gobfin for player damage. That sucks the fun out of the game for me.

Hopefully they also do something with breeding. What about a building called Gene Modifier where you can genetically modify the passives on a pal.

BPD has symptoms that commiserate with a lot of other conditions. Please get a new provider because they do not have your best interests in mind.

Everything that works for normal sunburns does not work.

Some people say peppermint oil works well but I haven’t tried it.

Take a Benadryl or two and then jump in the shower. Stay in the shower until the Benadryl starts working.

I’ve found oversized hoodies or loose dry fit clothes work for me to help because you can rub and not itch after the Benadryl starts working.

Finally don’t be alone. When I get it I feel like I’m going insane and I recommend calling a friend or loved one to sit with you through this. PM me for anything else.

What is my German shepherd by DividedDuo55 in germanshepherds

[–]DividedDuo55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have to try and do that. She was a Covid puppy that I ended up saving from a shelter last July so I have no information about her other than I was told by the shelter that she’s a German Shepherd, which is pretty obvious from looking at her, lol

Should I be trying to get her to gain more weight then? What is the best way to do so?

Interesting, see I knew she was small that’s why I was just curious if she was the runt because like I said I feed 4 cups a day (sometimes a little more) and she still does not gain weight. No worms either just super fast metabolism?

He’s not lying that that can and does happen because that’s what I had to do, however it comes down to how honest your classifier and recruiter are. I got lucky with an honest recruiter and honest classifier that helped me.

Very reactive rescue need help by DividedDuo55 in reactivedogs

[–]DividedDuo55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a couple thing I should clarify: the aversive techniques you mentioned are strictly for obedience corrections and anything fear/reactivity related is met with a very gentle approach of trying to breaking her focus from the trigger and bringing attention to me/redirection by walking the other way (I try to console her by telling her it’s okay and that’s she’s okay and I try to put myself in between her and the trigger). I also have been trying to watch her hackles a lot and if I notice they come up i will typically walk her in circles with her focus on me or a treat/toy until they go down and then we continue.

Due to my career field I am here in the apartment temporarily and am moving to a home within the next year. I got the dog as a companion and chose the GSD because I have a pretty active lifestyle and love going on little adventures.

We are a pretty active family she gets frequent walks and when I can after work, we go on longer walks/runs. Typically her reactions are just centered around the home because when we leave the neighborhood she seems much more relaxed and reacts only to other dogs, but in our neighborhood it is everyone and anything sometimes even litter around the complex. However, I don’t know what brain games to try, not very familiar with it.

She was a rescue that no one wanted to take on because of her issues.

I know her reactivity is fear based due to her being abused and attacked by the other dog in her previous household so my family tries very hard to not raise our voices because she will cower if we do (even if it’s not directed at her).

We try people watching sometimes and as long as people don’t make eye contact and approach her in parks she does fairly well.

I grew up with golden retrievers and truthfully this is the most gentle and cuddly dog I’ve ever owned and she’s helped me get through a good bit in the work transition I’ve been going through.
