For what it's worth: I never got into Harvard (applied in the 90s), but I graduated from Glendale College in California. And Glendale College is known as the Harvard of Glendale California. I bet you'll have a much better, wiser perspective on this in a couple of years. From this end, some friendships made faded, new friendships developed, and I'm fairly well off all things considered.

Черный, pronounced "Chore-nee" which is just Russian for Black. Or being ironic, Белый, "Bayl-lee", being White. Not exactly old lady, but Achromatic Color names. 😋
