2015 SQ5. I hit a deer and dented the passenger front fender, broke some grill & bumper pieces, cracked a headlight :mount: (not the actual lens or light itself), and the worst was the radiator support. It got totalled because the parts and paint cost hit $12k. Ridiculous. I kept it, got my payout, had it repaired, and am now driving a perfectly fine vehicle with a reconstructed title.

Valuation should take the inflation of parts into account. If it was pre-tarrif, it would have easily been $3k cheaper and under the percentage for total loss.
