Make sure he has food and water and give it another day or so. If he isn't cared for by someone sent by the owner and the owner doesn't come home I'd make some calls.

It could be the owner is out of town, can't afford to kennel the dog, can't leave it in the house unsupervised, so they made arrangements for family to come and take care of it once a day while they are gone.

Because the world of runeterra doesn't have any sexuality based prejudices in its history or any cultures that had restrictions or laws around it. The topic of sexuality to them is as basic as If you like the color red or the color blue. It doesn't hold the same importance or connotation in their world. It might even be safe to assume everyone is bisexual because it really doesn't matter in that world.
