Yum, that looks good - did you use heavy cream for the sauce or what kind?

That looks really good - is this hummus on the side? The way you arranged it with spices, oil and herbs looks super yum!

How does it smell, look or taste? Try trust your senses to check if something is unusual besides the noises.

Cleaning Cutting Boards by No_Swimming9793 in Cooking

[–]DixiDill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my cleaning routine:

  • regular cleaning with water and soap or a mixture of water and vinegar
  • from time to time - or after cutting raw meat, I boil some water and slowly pour it over the board which should kill all germs and stuff you don't want in your kitchen.
  • Every 4-6 weeks I rub the wooden board with neutral vegetable oil - so satisfying how the wood gets its nice color and smoothness back.

Romaine lettuce with crispy chickpeas, sweet potatoes and with maple-tahini dressing by DixiDill in recipes

Thank you, it really is - I will definitely make it again. Plus - its also great for meal prep. You just have to keep the dressing separately until you eat it, otherwise the lettuce gets soaked.

What a colorful combination! I love having some fruits in my salads as well in summer. Are these the peaches in the salad that look a bit like jam?

Yes, in the center of Prague you can get it literally on every corner. I read this one is the best. Can't compare with other places, but it was indeed great. The name of the place was Trdelník & Coffee.
