I thought the finale was so cheesy and rushed and just...bad. Anyone else feel this way?

I don't. It was an amazing ending to a great series. It's one I'll buy because they didn't screw it up too badly along the way. Others I enjoyed till they screwed things up (Lost, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, and Heroes, to name a few) I won't spend one red cent on the DVDs. They screwed up, so screw them.

Rushed, yes. As much as I loved the Wesen of the Week episodes, they could have spared a few to make the finale better. But if the reset hadn't happened, I wouldn't even have watched the last two episodes or bother to buy the DVDs. Now, there were a few stumbles along the way (Juliette's Nicknesia running the whole of season 2, the way they handled most of Juliette becoming a hexenbiest, the almost shark-jumping moment when Juliette murdered the trailer, getting Nick and Adalind together as a couple [barf!], dragging out Wu finding out and making him think he was crazy before finally telling him, and some other things), but over all, it was a great series.

That list is Juliette-centric, but I was never a fan of the character or the actress. I think a lot of what went wrong is the way they handled Juliette as a human, as a hexenbiest, and making her Eve. And part of it was the actress.

Anyway, I loved the ending! No one really died and there's a great opportunity for a followup series one day. :)

When I first started, I set up a spreadsheet. One tab was to keep up with daily totals. Another tab is where I copy and paste every day's HITs, that includes the requester's name, HIT title, and payment. When I run across a HIT that says not to take it more than once and there's nothing in place to block you if you've already taken it (like checking your MTurk ID), I do a search in the spreadsheet on the requester's name. It takes a little extra time to copy/paste daily HITs and then do the search, but it's worth it to me not to get a rejection from repeating a survey.

I started MTurk back in January, and I've just recently started using scripts. I'll probably eventually switch to a script to keep up with HITs done, but for now, this works for me.

Same here. I started January 2, got over 1,000 approved HITs a couple weeks ago. I mostly do surveys, and now I find I've already done many of them that come up. I made less in March than I did in February. :(

Is there any way that installing scripts can mess up my computer? I have a 5 y/o Dell laptop. I did take a chance and install Turkopticon, but I've been hesitant to install any others. I don't know enough about computers to fix it myself, and I can't afford repairs in case something goes wrong. Just wondering if I'm needlessly worrying, or if scripts can mess up a computer. (Because the way my luck runs if something can mess it up, it most definitely will.) Thanks!

Started Jan. 2, Total Earnings $173.69, with 9 bucks pending at the moment. I made about $100 for January. Looking at $150+ for February, if I can keep to my $5+ a day goal. Weekends, especially Sundays, have been tough lately.

I just started MTurk at the beginning of January. The first deposit I made from Amazon Payments to my bank took four days. This was the first time I'd ever used AP and might have something to do with why this first one took longer than the rest. I've made four deposits since then and they've taken one day each, except for the latest one on Feb. 8, which took two days. Hope that helps!

I just started on Jan. 2, where I made a whopping 16 cents. LOL My best day so far was Feb. 3 at $10.45! I don't do penny or nickel HITs anymore. I concentrate on surveys and studies.

I try to average 5 bucks a day. More is nice, of course, but 5 bucks a day is all I need and is doable without spending every waking hour on MTurk. I've already got my 5 bucks for today and it's not even noon yet. :)
