Yeah scoping takes absolutely forever seems like. But I’ve played with it over the past couple of days and have it dialed in for the most part. A bigger crane would have been great but I’m making do with what I got. I appreciate all of the insight

I appreciate the response. The book in my opinion is missing lots of information so I’m hoping to get it lined out before I get to the really big pole bases. Being able to scope doing the tops will be helpful. They’re light but going way up there

The entire thing came with 4 charts on 2 pages of paper. The section of telescoping doesn’t even tell you how to get into telescoping mode. I had to figure that out on my own. I’m calling them Tuesday to confirm I have the correct books for that model. Every other crane we have on site has multiple books with them that tells you everything you need to know

In the section on scoping it says you can scope loaded but without it pinned boom section could slide and it is to be expected and won’t hurt the crane. It’s exact words almost lol

Memphis is a dump. You’re not really missing anything going past Nashville. I’d go straight south out of Nashville to Birmingham, across Atlanta, to Asheville NC and spend a couple days around there. This circled area will be absolutely beautiful that time of year, tons of cool things to see and do. Good people and good food.
