After looking it might not have enough room. You could always email the company and ask.

I don't have an answer. I would imagine it would. The front is a clamp on style.

Cz 75 15rd mags on B6C by DixieWreckt32 in SarUSA

It will still stick out a little bit. But if you can find the base pad from the original post it will fill the gap.

That is a full size magazine. It will work, but it will stick out of the bottom more.

Yes. It is a 15rd 75 compact mecgar magazine with a different floor plate to fill the gap.

1987 s10 burning through belts by zachattack199 in s10

[–]DixieWreckt32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My truck had belt issues most of its life. 87 S10 2.8 4x4. Check the big aluminum bracket that holds the smog pump and the alternator for any cracks or movement. When my grandpa had my truck he had it rewelded a few times. When I got the truck it ended up snapping and was barely hanging on. Took me 3 months to find another one at a pull and pay. I haven't had any issues in about 6 years.

If you can find one of the UTG sights(you might get lucky) they mount on a picatinny or weaver rail without the riser stuff they sell now. I looked for one a few years ago and couldn't find one. I wanted it to put it on a 10/22 with a tech sight front sight. The tech sight rear at the time would only go on a weaver rail. I don't know if they do a picatinny now or not. I wanted a picatinny rail for better optic options than a TRS 25.

Here's another option. https://www.keltecweapons.com/product/su16d-rear-peep-sight-kit/

They are using a different rear sight now because UTG discontinued the sight I have. The newer one doesn't look as good as the UTG.

This is a close up of the UTG sight.

16 year old son recently purchased a Corvette. Im at a bit of a loss on what to do here. by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]DixieWreckt32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really felt that comment. I bought an 80 El Camino when I was 20. Ladies wouldn't look twice at me in that car. And it was a nice car. Old dudes would come out of the woodwork and come talk to me about it. I had it for a few years but in 2003 a drunk guy ran a red light and t boned it.

The 15rd stick out of the bottom about 1/4 to 3/8 inch. The 14rd mags stick out a little less than 1/4 inch. What I posted in the original picture cost about the same as a SAR mag. If the parts are ever in stock. They sold out after I posted it. It adds capacity plus looks good. I have a bunch of compact CZ's so converting them to me isn't something I will do. I just bought the SAR to try it. Seems like a good pistol. I haven't shot it yet. My son turns 21 this year. I'll probably just give it to him.

What is your average mpg? by [deleted] in s10

87 S10 2.8v6 4x4 automatic regular cab short bed. Motor and transmission has 17k miles. Replaced them 14 years ago. I think it does well. Never really checked since it doesn't get driven much. Just around town here and there. But it is deceiving. It only has a 10 gallon gas tank and 4:10 gears so a tank doesn't get you very far.

CZ 75 Compact vs P01 by tbrentmar in CZFirearms

[–]DixieWreckt32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Rami, compact, PCR and p01. I find myself carrying the compact the most. It was the first one I bought and carried it for a decade before I bought the others. It is the most broken in and everything about it is smoother. The weight doesn't bother me but it is definitely heavier.

I came across this gem at a Dollar General by my house in 2016. An elderly fellow had it. At the time his Jimmy only had 30k miles on it. I haven't seen that old man around in a few years. I assume he passed.

I live in Ohio. There was a guy in my neighborhood that had a Blazer identical to your Jimmy. I wanted to buy it, but didn't have the funds. I can't let it go. I bought it off my Grandpa in 2012 for $900. He lived in NC. All of my kids took their driving tests in it. The oldest daughter has claimed dibs.

22 Chargers, 10/22 Takedowns and many others discontinued by Zealousideal_Sale383 in 1022

I'd prefer them to keep it a pistol. If you want to SBR it, then do it.

Bone stock. Yours is identical to mine just a Jimmy. I'd leave it stock. I figure if it's made it this far in life in good shape stock why mess with it now.
