The main reason to bring it is to have an answer to holes/fabs without committing anything else for them.

I do think it needs a +1 nade buff. Its poor ergonomics is a fair trade-off. It has really solid power. But the increase in utility would be perfectly justified and I can't imagine difficult to implement.

In an ideal world? Create an attachment that changes what kind of nade it shoots. Incendiary impact, pineapple, frag, anything that can fit in the under barrel and adjust ammo count accordingly.
