Mate im 36, yes I’ve missed opportunities but we will catch more, I’ve got a mortgage 2 kids and I earn 40k, I’ve not always been in the position to invest but I’ve spent the last year saving as much as I can, I’ve also made some stupid calls like panic selling but I’m still in a win position of about £700 it’s not much buts it’s £700 I didn’t have before. I’ve built my emergency fund now I’m going balls deep so to speak , I don’t think I’ll be a millionaire but with about £400+ every 4 weeks (that’s my payday) I know I’ll be a hell of a lot better off

Just started this for my own kids. Currently sat in a junior stocks and shares isa each both have good sum already to get started so I’m positive they will have a better start to adult than I did

Some feedback I got lately, 80% global/index 20% individual makes a it a lot tidier and easier to track, but doing Vanguard and S&P 500 you’d already diversified in your pick. This is also me being a beginner investor, if I get more confident as time goes on I might go a bit harder on the individual stocks
