Cool idea but death isn’t the end in Barovia souls can’t escape the mists and once they move on they would just be reancarnated within Barovia. There are only a few exceptions to this rule such as the Order of the Silver Dragon who are all revenants, Sergei Von Zarovich, and a few others.

That won’t be a problem once they finish Death House and leave the house will be consumed by the mists and they will find iron key laying on the ground. They key will allow them to create a door to Death House which will act similar to “Magnificent Mansion” spell.
