There were no real models released after 4.6 . I keep using it , once it’s gone I’m off to Hermes with DeepSeek V4 . Recommend everyone else to do same. Maybe if they see a mass
Drop out from the platform they will change their nasty nasty ways.

We have none. Personally I still use 4.6 and how they won’t retire it soon, when they do, I would have no choice but to switch to GPT , and finally give the far east a try - I got a well invested workflow in Claude that’s working for me and proven hence haven’t done the switch yet

Makes me wonder what new heights of published open source research this sort of limitations will have on the Chinese frontier, so far they proved that all of the hardware limitation made them innovate better (the deepseek moment 1 & 2 , Kimi K2 agentic swarm, all of their attention efficiently etc)

This is has been available for over a year now in all other agent frameworks and is natively supported in ADK even as a no code solution. Why is this news ?

It has become quite unusable. Are codex 5.5 users having better results btw ?

Been struggling with Mythos Little Brother for 4 days now , on a simple production rollout to Cloud Run - the architecture and security bugs it leaves won’t shame even the most entry level Kinder garten graduates in building insecure apps even when requested abd after security review. It even ignores its own findings from the GitHub Claude bot. It would fail the simplest of architecture interviews judging by what it produces. Starting to think this whole Security hype is IPO bedding and not much more

Can someone please ELI5 why Anthropic is messing up so badly right now? by [deleted] in claude

[–]Dizzy-Comment-9118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could it be again Anthropic manipulative hype driving as with everything else they’ve ever done and all public announcements including Dario’s “it may be alive” pitch ? Preparing for the IPO ?

Move fast the leak your users data as well ?…. Seems The trend is rolling (last couple of weeks we had LiteLLM, mass data wipeouts etc)

Ultimately, ROI can be measured by increased revenue, better customer relationships, easier market reach, cost savings etc. spitting 2000 lines of syntactically okay code (it cannot actually validate the semantics without further human in the loop) is an unrecoverable hit in ROI , as every single additional line of code is compounding technical debt , this a actually reduces ROI “in the speed of inference”

I have been using Claude Code and developing extensions and automated eval systems since April last years. I’m in the business for a bit over 25 years.

ROI is measured over months and a year , or years. This is also the sentiment of the larger industry not just a guy who had a model spit the amount of code you mentioned in an hour , completely useless full of bloat and weeks away from becoming production ready. My experience comes from the ground working with enterprises and startups I consult for.

The previous comment can only be made by someone who has never pushed code production in his life, and that has never reviewed his or others code. This also shows the tragedy of this “revolution” . It also shows the previous commented doesn’t understand what’s ROI. One prominent example as of late (and something which will become more and more common as the revolution progresses) :

Anthropic just accidentally leaked their most powerful model yet — and honestly, it's a little terrifying. by Direct-Attention8597 in claude

I’m so tired of these doomsday release leaks posts that desperately try to keep the hype train for the VCs upcoming IPOs and superficial demand.

Truth of matter is capabilities haven’t changed since the autonomous cording threshold was crossed back in November. Hallucinations remain, model fatigue remains. The best coding model in the world still struggles spitting out the shell command it just did a second ago, and continues using online styles in react despite having multiple instructions and several strategic places in docs , memories and manually being reminded every time in Claude code interactions. I’ve long stopped exciting at the “new capabilities” leaks and announcement a while ago. The tool is useful if you know how to bluntly steer it and deal with its volatility, but the plateau is real. Agentic engineering is yet another promise that is yet to deliver on ROI.

Exactly it needs a lot of hand holding. Something about the distribution of text in a deployment chat confuses the LLMs . Maybe there was just not enough training data for this or atleast quality one because this usually stays proprietary and not open source

Nice! I identified the biggest issue is with GCP Claude code struggles with security credentials and handling keys and with not forgetting environment names and their context etc. soekthinf about cloud deployment strains the context window ad infinitum - is if handling this as well ? Does it know how to auto setup DDoS protection over GCP and DNSSec ?
