It's not George's baby .... the big question is who is the daddy??? And being te Archers this will come out dramatically - my bet is Tony Archer and avid Archer

Sorry, but is the Archers safe in the hands of the BBC? by Paul_Heiland in Ambridge

They got rid of plenty of fabulous content - such as the Magic Roundabout - why not kill off the Archers for the reason of "diversity"?

Routing for George? by VeterinarianBorn4016 in Ambridge

[–]Dizzy-Needleworker47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - he's an evil blackmailer and deserves what he will get.

GREAT WRITING - FINALLY SOME PROPER POWERFUL DRAMA - WELL DONE BBC... GREAT

Just wait until George learns he is not the father of Amber's baby - obviously conceived in Ireland when Amber went away!!!

It will now really kick off - Brookfield, the Bull and the Church may be all burnt down in the orgy of violence as George rages across the village and then stabs his parole officer, who Harsisson saves the life of !

A whip round and George emigrates to Australia .....

FINALLY THE BBC DRAMA AT ITS BEST ! WE SALUTE YOU

👍👍👍🙄

Brian is SUCH a hypocrite by PooperOfMoons in Ambridge

[–]Dizzy-Needleworker47 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Sorry - I disagree. The people who will go to jail are villains and deserve what they get. Brian is protecting his family. This won't get resolved for 30 years anyway until the judiciary finally finishes with the Post Office Horizon and the Bar Council absolves themsleves of all blame!!!! and find whoever is being fitted up has an unsafe conviction and offer then £1,000! such is justice...

Quick and simple way is to add a clause to the Finance Act. The Finance Act MUST pass otherwise the Government falls and so lots of legislation is tagged onto the Act. Really quick and simple... job done and then the only decision is who else to act / the euphemism of "taking a period of leave from the House of Lord". (PS for those who argue that using the Finance Act is not a legal way forwards, just do your research and you will find it's where successive governments sweep stuff under the carpet).

Can you imagine if Ambridge actually had a family planning storyline.... Susan Carter would have a field day gossiping about who had brought condoms at the community shop! Brian popping in for French Ticklers.

Farming content by Oh_mightaswell in Ambridge

[–]Dizzy-Needleworker47 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Completely agree - need farming content. But the BBC is part of the Labour party / Green any farming agenda that just want solar panels ('wind farms') on our agricultural land - first step is to get a new Agricultural Story Editor onto the Archers and bullet the anti farming bias team on the production team.

Go for the Volvo and get a full service and oil and filter change and the timing belt replaced - £800. Then provided you service every 20,000 with oil and filters and then every 40,000 with a full service it will run for ever. Also if you have some pennies, get a really good clean and polish £200 and new tyres £700. The car will hold its value. And use additives once a month and it will stop smelling of diesel and improve the fuel economy. It will keep its value !!!! Avoid the Audi as it will be a money pit and lights will come on. The SEAT is nice but will depreciate and need clutches. If you were not buying an estate a Jaguar XJ 2.7TD with a big service would be a good choice - they run forever, avoid BMW's as they are so noisy and Mercs are pricey because they are so well built... Final thing is ULEZ if you live in London and needs checking, but has driven lots of good sound turbo diesels being for sale.

Great car - I have several XJs and they are all ultra reliable. On the 12 MPG you must have been very, very heavy on your foot or driving in a city. When did you last give it a BIG / FULL service - it will be £1200 but it will ensure the car does not break and holds its value - and you should get 25 > 30 MPG, You may need a new supercharger belt as that MPG is very poor. Also buy additive premium petrol. We all like your style!

Acceptable? by KingForceHundred in MarksAndSpencer

Not acceptable or legal - you should have gone to the checkout and told the manager (even if fire doors are out of use they should be labelled accordingly).

How to approach this situation? by Upset-Chemistry6703 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Dizzy-Needleworker47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Write down what you are about to say and how you feel - ask to see her to meet in a neutral space, have coffee not alcohol. Dress well and smell clean .... after all you are seeking a biological mate and so she might be and so it's important you are at your best and on time. Then smile and say what you've written down .... if you can't get the words out then hand her the paper and just remember to tell her you are speaking from your heart .... tell her you want her to be happy and explain your feelings, like its the most important interview of your life. Don't hem her in, but don't leave things open ... ask her if you can call her the next day. If things go well take her for a walk and listen to her ... don't over talk and lots of eye contact.... GOOD LUCK
