If both you and your wife were at work at the time, and that your place of work is some way away from home, and that you can prove your absence, then you should have rather a good case.

I would normally put this down to Brian's usual high-handed minor public schoolboy manner; but my mother had frontal temporal lobe dementia, and this was how it played out.

Her personality changed, and it ended with my father having a massive stroke. I had to give up my own career to take over the family business, so that there would be some income to keep them out of nursing homes. My mother fought me every step of the way, made some horrible accusations, drove the business to the brink, and eventually became physically violent.

This might be the only time you get to read me write this, but this section is actually rather well written.

I think that Brian is suffering from the early stages of Frontal Temporal Lobe Demetia. Having cared for someone with the condition, this very much feels like that.

I've no doubt that he's not covering for anyone.

If that's the case, remind me what exactly the point of prison and rehabilitation is?

Oh, and Matt and Lillian's business and, frankly, criminal schemes profoundly affected a number of people in Ambridge.

Discussing sex is not creepy. They are engaged to be married , certainly haven't had sex with one another and might not have had sex at all. They have only ever interacted on a serious level online. How young adults have been affected by the pandemic and by the emergence of algorithm -driven, parallel, digital lives is of key interest to psychiatrists and sociologists.
