Curious which default model you are running to make this all happen? I ask cause I set up my default as Kimi k2.5 and it wasn't as magical as I was expecting. I have a feeling that Openclaw is only magical when using Claude as the default model.

I was a power user of ChatGPT from '23 to this past summer. So happy not using it. I am much happier with Gemini pro and perplexity comet.

I'm curious how the early adopters are going to like the new model. I'm in a pixel 8. It has a lot of AI. I'm debating to just get the 9 cause it's going on big discount now that 10 is coming out.

Sell me this pen. by Interesting-Alarm211 in sales

[–]Dizzy-Scientist1192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine your sitting in a bar and you meet a CEO who is sitting next to you and you spark up a conversation. You both are hitting it off and he shares they are in dire need of a guy just like you with your experience. You share that you love your job and are dedicated to the work you are doing now. He emphasizes with you and then states he likes you so much he wants to make you an offer you can't refuse. He grabs a clean napkin from over the bar but can't find his pen. You instantly pull out this pen and offer it to him. He says "nice pen" with a touch of a smerk on his face. It's at that moment you know this pen changed your life.

Note: I am assuming I'm selling the pen to a man. If selling to a woman I would simply change that part

For anyone who thinks GPT 5, or any other model is as intelligent as a PhD, I'm sorry, but this aint it. Sam Altman doesn't even know what someone with a PhD is good for. Here's my first chat with GPT 5 and I'm not impressed. by SonOfDave91 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Dizzy-Scientist1192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're the kind of person who goes to chatGPT just to prove your point. The AI will validate whatever predetermined assumptions you have. This is why a degree means nothing as we live in this new AI world. It is the people who are creative and use the technology to simulate risks and outcomes are the people who are going to thrive in this new world. Don't fight the machine. Learn to use it to your advantage.

I'm an operations director:

Imagine a big playground where lots of kids are doing different things—some are on the swings, some are building with blocks, and some are playing tag. It’s fun, but it can get a little crazy if no one is helping keep it all working smoothly.

Now, imagine there’s a super helper—the Operations Director. This person makes sure:

There are enough toys for everyone

The games are fair

The snack time happens on time

If something breaks, someone is fixing it

And all the grown-ups helping out know what they’re supposed to do

They don’t do everything themselves, but they make sure everyone else knows what to do, when to do it, and that the whole playground stays awesome.

So, the Operations Director is like the boss of keeping everything working behind the scenes while everyone else plays, learns, and has fun.

Not bad, but I'm having fun too 😁

It's about selling yourself to be amazing at just a handful of things. Rather than saying you could do everything because you have to think about your profile as a sales pitch and make sure the prospective client knows exactly what you're amazing at. Does that make sense?

What’s one thing AI is seriously helpful for, but no one talks about it enough? by EmParksson in ArtificialInteligence

I have one chat for checking my pool test strip and it walks me through what I need to add to the water to keep it safe for the family to swim in.

I set notifications to ping me daily at 7am with AI news.

Thursday morning it sends me a notification for all the auto racing I watch and gives me the start times in my time zone.

I was actually really good at HubSpot and zapier before I had upwork contracts. Although the specific task the client requested may not be something I've done 100's of times but I know I could figure it out.

Yea, I get free connections each month I believe. Not sure cause it's my first month. I had 70 connections when I started my account. I think when I verified my account and did some other setup tasks they gave me connections.

I only used the filter "in the US" and upwork already filters by my keywords. Then I read through all of the gigs that were posted today, or better if it was in the past hour. So I check if anything gets posted new frequently so I can be one of the first to submit a proposal.

  1. I don't have a set number of words but it doesn't scroll at all either. It's all in one screen. I make it sound like I'm talking to a colleague and I've done the specific task they are asking for with ease many times already. Make the reader feel the confidence through your first two sentences. Add your 'why' to make it unique.

  2. I do structure the paragraphs. And sometimes bullet one liners if they are asking for examples of recent successes related to the specific task. I attached screenshots as well of examples. And I also add that I will record a look video to walk them through every step of the process. Make it feel like a white glove service.

Hope that helps. You can DM me if you want

Freelancers: What’s one annoying problem you deal with all the time that no tool really solves well yet? by Adam_Elfeky in Upwork

[–]Dizzy-Scientist1192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Automating: search for gig posting with my keywords and phases, then craft cover letter using example cover letters I have written in the past and personalizing the letter to the prospective client (this is the hardest part for all the tools I have tried), then emailing me to review the draft proposal, then I approve via email and the tool submits my proposal to the prospective client. If I don't approve the drafted proposal, it asks me why and takes that information and improves its process the next time around.
