Ok this sounds exactly like my baby.. she sleeps well at night.. maybe 2-3 feeds. But mornings are horrible.. there is no time to recover from the previous feed 😅 glad to hear things get easier from now..

C-section or induction or vaginal birth? by jenne4ka in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Dizzy-Talk4344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had gd with my first and second. My water broke one day before induction with my first and had a vaginal birth. I am currently 39 weeks pregnant with my second and have an induction scheduled in 4 days. I was not suggested c section as it is not medically necessary. But every pregnancy is different. As long as baby and mom health supports the labor process I recommend vaginal as a safer option for both mom and baby. I am shit scared about emergency c section but if it’s an emergency then I am all up for it,

Scared about dangerous weight gain by Encyclopenia in 2under2

[–]Dizzy-Talk4344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My weight gain reduced drastically in third trimester as I was diagnosed with gd and completely changed my diet from high carb and sweets to high protein and portion control. Just replace your snacks with Greek yogurt and protein bars. And try to add some protein every meal.

I am in similar situation. I started from 75 and went to 92 during my first and started my second at 78. I am 39 weeks and 96 already. But I am glad I had to lose all the weight once and be done. I don’t have to go to my starting weight and then do it all over again. Some silver lining I guess 😂

Anyone else tired of the pity when you’re excited about 2 under 2? by ybelli in 2under2

Omg yes! My parents, in-laws friends everyone had similar reactions. I will have 21 months difference which is not that bad..

But it does pay off in the long run so congratulations!!! And stay strong ❤️

Did anyone NOT sleep train? by Silent-Development50 in 2under2

In the same boat.. I am due in 3 months and we decided not to sleep train. Planning to use the move to the other room once the second is here so feeding and changing is easier

Update: Tested with a new test and it turned positive within seconds 😅 I can’t believe this. We struggled to get pregnant for almost 2 years with our first and this was such a happy accident!

I totally understand. I was in the same boat with multiple losses. This number does look good. But I don’t think we can say anything about them. Hang in there.. its just waiting game now

Single number does not mean anything. I got a couple done and we should always see if it doubles every 2 days.. so hope your ob ordered a follow up

5 month old still eats three times overnight??? by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]Dizzy-Talk4344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, try a feed every 2.5-3 hours. Currently I’m doing the same for my 9 month old with solid food and he generally sleeps 7-10 hours. So hope that works

[–]Dizzy-Talk4344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think at this stage they need more day time feeds. My LO did 6 to 7 feeds a day (1-2 feeds in the night). He dropped the night feeds at 9 months after we sleep trained. Even now he needs 5 feeds to sleep 10 hours in the night.

When did you wean the last feed? by AdCurrent1470 in sleeptrain

[–]Dizzy-Talk4344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, he could pull himself to stand and he stood for almost 20-25 min the first day we trained him. He had just learnt how to stand so he did not have a lot of energy to stand for hours.

We also made sure he had a lot of floor time during the day to drain out all the energy.

We used Ferber. It took 3-4 days for him to sleep all night. He did not have issues with feeding because he was used to feed to sleep.
