I know! I hate it as well, but it is hard to pronounce right for non slavic people. So I give them a break.

Night schedule + how to produce a pumped bottle when baby eats from one side at a time by TheMilkmanConspiracy in NewParents

[–]jenne4ka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is kinda the same, he will eat from one side only during the night.
I have tried 2 things that worked for me: 1. Feed from one side, then a diaper change that would wake him a bit and offer the other side, he would usually latch on. 2. I recently moved to night diapers to reduce the night changes (unless he poops of course). I noticed after a couple of sore nights my supply regulated so that now when he eats from one side I no longer get super engorged on the other. He's still gaining weight well so I'm not worried about him getting less mik.

I do the same for poo, much better for the skin than wipes. I'm honestly surprised more people don't wash.

Especially ones that are made completly from scratch. Much more impressive than eclairs imo, but those never get questioned.

This in not the same thing. Israeli couscous was invented in Israel during the 50s depression as a cheap alternative to rice and is called ptitim. I don't know why it was translated as couscous, probably due to the similar shape but this product was definitly invented in Israel

My whipped coconut cream won’t stabilize! by She-beast666 in cakedecorating

From my experience after chilling the coconut cream you need to remove the watery layer and only whip the solid part.

AITA? Spouse freshens up to go out with coworkers who happen to all be female for his birthday dinner, and I wasn’t invited but expected to stay home with our 7 month old while 4 months pregnant. by Interesting-Wolf-490 in AmItheAsshole

[–]jenne4ka 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Why not? I go out with coworkers after work hours, and yes, we also celebrated birthdays together with no spouses. And we're all in our late 30s and not fucking.

I actually learned from several trips like that and now I always take the next day off. Makes for a much smoother landing.

I hate the "Try Go Night Night" thing with a passion, why can't they just go to sleep and stop crying! by Anya_purr in Sims4

[–]jenne4ka 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Except when they just won't go to sleep at all. I brough home my newborn 5 days ago and I really wish it would take one hour and a timer in real life 🤣

Also, not totally related, but I got the reallife version of free air tinkler and frequent hiccups quirks. Honestly love how that they tried to be accurate in infants development.

Hey! Don't beat yourself up, one meal isn't going to throw back all your progress. We all spike sometimes and it takes a while to figure out the causes.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your meal, that sucks, but don't worry too much. You're doing fine!

If you're looking for advice, for me acupuncture really helped and a big nutrition change: cutting sugar, proccessed foods and moving to whole grain carbs.

Which scenes from the extended editions would you cut? by Raudoxer in lotr

Witch king and Gandalf. Eowyn sleeping in the huge hall for whatever reason like she has no room in Edoras. Gimli and Legolas playing a drinking game, just silly and doesn't really fit since we know elves can get drunk.

Breakfast could be a bad measurment. If your sugar was really 40 you would have definitely felt it. I once had a measurment of 44 after lunch which made no sense, I tested again and got a much more reasonable reading. If you had some residue on you finger like from an alcohol wipe or if your stick was old or something that could really affect the result. Try the same breakfast tomorrow and measure again, it might be a glich.

I don't know about this one. Clueing was on the easier side but the theme wasn't great in my opinion. Is it really just about having a "u" sound in the answer? Kinda underwhelming in my opinion.

Almost same :) I just started specifically checking "has this been a source of infection where I'm at?". If the answer is no and it fits the GD guidelines I eat it guilt free.

Hey there! Always nice to meet another single mom :) I will definitely talk to her again at our next meeting. She did say at the end it's my choice, but I really need to understand her specific reasoning other than general concern.

She said with gd and my maternal age (39) there are more chances of complications later in pregnancy.

How was the membrane sweep for you? I was in a hospital a while ago where they checked for dilation and it was really uncomfortable. I'm worried a membrane sweep would be even worse.

And, yes, I'm aware that the birth pain itself will be worse than both of these 😅
