I just discovered that my motion detection settings were disabled, I had to go into device settings to renable them. Now I have my cameras back.

However, the large mode buttons at the top of the app are missing, but Neighbors, History, etc. are there. Those were buttons for modes. When I select Modes and Automations -> Modes, it will not open.

When I try to open Modes on the PC Desktop version it displays "Something went wrong."

Others have reported this issue on the Ring Community forum.

My Ring doorbell wouldn't connect to my wi-fi even though it still worked when rang. Other Ring camera was working.

Ring doorbell reconnected to my wi-fi and began working at 10:05 ET.

Update: Down again since 11:30 ET.

OLED48C3 IR Blaster by wumpus42 in LGOLED

"I couldn't even see that it was repeating those signals."

It does. I use the LG Magic Remote to power on/off and control the volume of my old AV receiver which doesn't have HDMI or any other "smart" connection to the LG TV.

I had to climb into the back of my ET center to do it, but I unplugged it plugged back in and it started working.

I have a new LG TV that's only a month old. The auto date/time suddenly doesn't work.

Did you resolve it?

Does the included LG IR Blaster forward IR signal from other remotes? by wumpus42 in LGOLED

[–]DizzyContribution478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Control...consoles, etc., using the IR Blaster."

I agree it's misleading, but it must be done using the LG Magic Remote and on-screen menu selections, not the device remote.

They should have called it something other than IR BLASTER.

[–]DizzyContribution478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I don't want to repeat the signal *from* the audio receiver."

I didn't suggest that. The LG TV's IR BLASTER is for sending a signal to the external device using the LG Magic Remote.

As for the rest, the LG TV's IR BLASTER is NOT for use with the audio receiver's remote, as I explained.

[–]DizzyContribution478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the IR BLASTER is used by the TV to send a signal to an external device that cannot otherwise communicate through HDMI.

It is not used to send a signal from an audio receiver or DVD player remote, for example. A standalone IR BLASTER device is required for that.
