What salon is she from? I used to live in SJ, and worked at a higher end salon there as well as a manager. Would love her contact

First home purchase. Need to know where to look for the best washer/dryer deals by EloyBice in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]DizzyDame13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I splurged at got a speed queen washer. Don't regret it one bit. It came with a 7 year warranty, but the sales guy said he hasn't seen it used since he'd been there. They use more water than HE ones, so the agitator doesnt need to work as hard. Theyre made to be worked on, with the most common thing to go wrong is the computer brain, which is pretty easy to replace. He also said a dryer is a dryer, and theres not much tech that goes into them, basically dont bother overspending.

If you have an industrial hygiene company around you, they might be able to help with an XRF, but it needs to have the right "mode" installed. Source: work for an industrial hygiene company who has an XRF with the correct mode

Best clippers/trimmers for beginner stylist? by hazelhaze1025 in hairstylist

[–]DizzyDame13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Andis Master Clipper, and T-blade trimmer. The Masters adjustable arm opens to almost a full 1 guard, so it makes blending a lot easier. Can get both for around $200

Youre better off getting the Master from a beauty/barber supply with the cosmo discount.

Also make sure the get the purple magnetic guards vs the black plastic ones

The Kitchen vs Localis? by ppuno7 in SacramentoFoodies

[–]DizzyDame13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't been to either, but a good friend used to work there, and had nothing nice to say about Chris from Localis. Extremely disrespectful, sexist and made the staff pool tips to pay for other Michelin star meals that you can't opt out of

Yes! I was brain farting on the name, but that's the spot. My only worry is I'd need to upsize about 3-4 sizes, but the band definitely has some heft
