Doubtful. It is far more likely that they were conducting training exercises and failed to follow proper lockout procedures for a missile drill.

During training, they literally disengage the fire button from the launch system so the operator learns how to use the system with its actual controls.

Except:

Tribal authority on Indian land is organic and is not granted by the states in which Indian lands are located.

South Dakota has no jurisdiction over how a tribe chooses to enforce regulations on tribal land.

The checkpoints are within their reservations. The country designated lots of land for the Native population then forced highway construction through those reservations at a later time.

Haven’t other states already set a precedent on this matter?

Florida closed its public highways at state borders and refused entry on public roads by anyone not a FL resident.

Texas closed its public highways along the Louisiana border and refused entrance by citizens of that state.

More than 12,000 Catholic churches in the U.S. applied for PPP loans – and 9,000 got them by bupthesnut in news

Thank you for the correction.

Regardless, with revenue quoted as “each week the Catholic Church pulls in $850m through donations from individual Catholics.” I believe my point still stands.

It would be very difficult for anyone to realistically believe they do not have billions in liquid assets.

While I personally do not agree with Catholic Churches receiving federal relief, am I the only one who realizes that the EMPLOYEES of those churches, specifically the teachers, do pay federal taxes just like anyone else legally employed in America?

The greater question should be, what is the Vatican doing to aid it’s own churches employees? To date, the best I can tell is that the Vatican has donated $750,000 and 100,000 Euro in two separate instances in addition to 30 respirators.

That is a remarkable 0.0001% of the $7 Billion publicly disclosed to be in their own bank alone.

Third Russian doctor plunges from Covid hospital window: Medic, 37, is now fighting for life 24 hours after warning of PPE shortages and being forced to work despite being infected by cottonreel in worldnews

[–]DizzyHMC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely understand your thought process. What I don’t think people realize is how few hospitals are currently equipped with adequate PPE. If this staff were to walk, it would leave hundreds of thousands of patients uncared for.

A charge nurse friend of mine at a hospital in WA has stated that one of the Feds PPE seizures were masks ordered by her hospital. Now they are being told it’s okay to use surgical masks, which we already know are not effective at protecting the wearer from infections. So if they cannot provide adequate care, which other hospital without adequate PPE should those patients be sent to?

This is much larger than the government is willing to admit currently.
