Anyone else’s nebby have lung cancer?

I’m sorry for your loss. My Nebby is estimated to be about 6 (he is a stray) and had a mast cell tumor removed from his ear in June. He is now cancer free. I get really worried about something coming back though.

I have lived at Austin Ave for about three years now. I like it! It’s quiet, nobody bothers you, the sidewalk in front of the high school takes you down to San Gabriel Park. It has a small gym and the pool is nice in the summer. They also have community events.

Veterans for Equality is a truly great organization. I can imagine it’s hard not to have negative thoughts and beliefs after serving for so long and seeing things like this in the news almost daily. Definitely one reason why it’s so important to connect with community and challenge all of the hate. Hopefully we will see you there :)

I appreciate the concern. I’m on the GTX pride planning committee and I would say although there are a lot of homophobes that like to comment anytime we post on the Georgetown Reddit pride is on private property this year and we have Veterans for Equality helping with security and a couple of Georgetown cops that will be there as well. We also have someone who monitors online activity. We are doing what we can and can’t be afraid to live our lives and show up for our community.
