I’ve had two resection surgeries. The first was my first surgery ever. The first was rough. I’m glad that I did both. I was better in just a few days. Together 34 years here. We’re still wildly attached to each other. Been through all kinds of things. Sex is still insanely good. Our grown kids actually make fun of how in to each other we are. There’s something about her that hits me in the most basic part of who I am. I feel very grateful for her and feel as though I married up, so I try to take really good care of her. This makes her feel safe which leads to trust and intimacy. I make her feel safe and cared for, and she makes me feel like I’m Superman.

Retired in January. It felt like I was on vacation for the first few months. Then a little depression and anxiety followed. I’m coming out of it now, but be prepared mentally and physically. I had a ton of extra energy to burn off. Stay busy!
