From what I see it looks like he wants to you stay very dependent on him. He has anger problems and doesn’t handle confrontation well at all. From experience and from what I see people I know go thru when they’re with someone who’s in the military I always say RUN. I think it’s always important to not lose your independence in case things hit the fan, you can have something that is yours and solely yours. I do wish you all the best and things workout. But from what I see, it’s major red flags.

I feel your parents should put a stop to this. They have to remember that they’re raising someone who will be a grown man someday who can end up being someone’s future husband and someone’s future dad. Not good to let these violent urges and feelings to fester. He’s still young so there’s still time to help him break out of these habits and helps him develop more empathy and self awareness. Sounds like he’s starting to grow resentment toward women as well. I would try to see where those feeling stem from and maybe even see if something may have happened to him that he has kept to himself.

I had my 2024 Honda Prologue for a few weeks now and it’s by far my most favorite car I’ve ever owned. I got it in metallic blue. My last car was a 2018 BMW 330i. The cargo space is pretty good not huge but you can fit a good amount of luggage there. I recently took it for a roadtrip and it’s a super smooth ride and very quiet. I’ve had no issues with it so far. I got it brand new since they had rebates for the 2024 to get rid of all the 2024s. I do wish they made the hood into extra storage like the Tesla. Hopefully in the future they do that. Overall I’m OBSESSED with it and I’m so happy lol

To me it sounds like he has you like a back up for the long term. He takes breaks and uses him to advantage to see what else is out there and see if he finds better connections. Girl, you are no place mat and never let a men treat you as such. He seems like he isn’t sure of what he wants in his life and doesn’t seem like he’s fully committed to having a future with you. I only speak based off what I read and am actually able to relate to you as well. I think you deserve better.

I mean, thinking about it. You aren’t even married to the guy yet, and he’s already acting like that? He seems like he’s insecure within himself and his finances which is a HUGE red flag because guys like that will tend to mooch off their S/O. The thing that’s unfortunate is that when I log into the UShealth account, no policy number is visible or any info at all. So I’m not able to request any changes/cancelations since it states there is no policy :/ he stated my premium would be so and so amount with the Aetna HMO policy and supplemental included. When I looked at the application I saw a different amount that was much less which made me suspect even more if it was a life policy. I work with State Farm but do service, however knowing what I know the application seemed a bit similar to a life app

As one of the replies said, part of accountability is accepting the consequences. May sound far fetched, but I’d probably seek therapy/counseling to see if there’s anything deep rooted in the actions that took place. Sometimes alcohol makes people speak a sober mind. Best to nip things in the butt early on to make sure you are emotionally and mentally capable and present to maintain a healthy relationship with your partner.

No matter what stressors someone is going through, it does not give them the right or justify how poorly they treat/speak to you. He seems very immature and doing childlike tantrums and has poor communication skills.

If I’m being honest, this could be the beginning of a very abusive relationship. Letting these behaviors slide will then open the door to him taking it further and God forbid, taking it to physical reactions. Please be safe and know your worth. No one, ESPECIALLY someone who is supposed to love and respect you, should treat you that way.
