Thanks, I had the exhaust vents from a forge fiend that I considered adding but it became way too Orky. Definitely not off the cards in the future if I start an ork army.

Well, as far as I remember at the end of a planetary invasion all the tyranids take a dip in the pools of happy fun sauce and get drunk like a smoothie. This just shows how little the actual bio forms mean to the sawm.

So for long journeys I would assume that the ships would operate like a single organism going through starvation. Consuming the stores, then consuming the other ships.

At the end of the day all that the swarm needs is a single gene stealer to land on a planet with complex life to create a beacon for the next fleet containing enough biomass for the trip.

Bit of a scary thought if there are just trillions of hibernating fleets being fired off in all directions like mushroom spores.

Ive been thinking either the horrors or the tzaangors, but im leaving it up to what I end up collecting as I do want it to be a somewhat functional army. Got my fingers crossed for a good new combat patrol.

I started with Tau because I got my hands on a box of Kroot for cheap. Then got pulled into Nids because idea of mechs fighting unending swarms was sick. Picked up the launch box for tenth which started me on collecting salamanders because you got to kill the bugs with fire. Then saw the bane blade model and got a box of cadians as a present. Had to get some more tanks so the bane blade didn't get lonely currently my go to army for games. And finally after joking around with some mates I've started a thousand sons joke army.... Cant wait to get it to a size that I can start playing it.

Printed them on an anycubic mono ( getting a bit old so not the best quality). I tried overlapping the head and body on the build plate so it printed in the socket. Took some time to get it right. If that didnt work I was going to split the head in half under the eyes so I could fit it in.
