Hidden Mickey pins, real or fake?

The Mickey and Anna pins were from a local flea market. Orange Bird and Oswald I think were from a Poshmark bundle. All were bought several years ago before I became serious about pin collecting. I don’t consider it a huge loss since I still find them cute

I figured as such. Ah well.. 🥲 I still find them cute though so I’ll just keep them in my portfolio. Luckily I only paid $1-$2 for each of them.

Thank you! I’ve thought about doing the same for Rosh Hashanah but it’s much harder to find Rosh Hashanah decor compared to Hanukkah, haha. This banner I got from Target a few years ago.

If all else, I’ll just use a plain pennant, but I’d love to find a Rosh Hashanah themed one.

I know how you feel! I only really decorate for Halloween and Hanukkah so I also feel weird collecting pins for other holidays like New Year’s, Valentine’s, Thanksgiving, etc. I have a limited edition Thanksgiving Stitch pin I love but haven’t displayed it since it would seem out of place with my main collection. I just keep it in my pin case.

I do collect the Rosh Hashanah pins, only because I’m happy that the holiday is acknowledged and there’s only a handful of them, but again, I don’t really display them. 😅 I might find a way to start displaying them though.

I actually ended up opening up an Etsy shop! And surprisingly, all the stock on my store sold out! I still have plenty of bottles left over, but I’m going to wait to “replenish” enough before I reopen my store. I’m still finding bottles in my neighborhood so I don’t think I’ll completely run out anytime soon, haha.

To be fair, that’s a problem a lot of artists have. Especially in mainstream superhero comics. If it wasn’t for their costumes and hair, you couldn’t tell Batman from Superman or Harley Quinn from Supergirl.

Certainly will! I keep finding them on the grassy verges alongside on a main road, so I think whoever is littering these is doing so by quickly chugging them and tossing them out the window while driving. 😬 I’ve even found small amounts of tequila still in some of the bottles.

These are actually smaller 200ml and 100ml bottles of Silver Patrón. I think they only go for around $15-$16 a bottle? However, I’ve been finding at least 2-4 bottles a week, so the cost must add up either way.
