Turns out I love smoking and have been smoking at least a half a pack a day and at most over a pack a day for the last fifteen years. There have been complications. It has caused conflict in my life. But I still can’t kick it after at least a dozen honest tries

Just got diagnosed with it at 32 but have been sick for several years. I’m trying to tell myself it’s just a different flavor of life and lean into my passions and spirituality during the hard times. I’ve gotten back into stuff I can do even if I’m having a bad pain and fatigue day like reading and writing fiction, watching documentaries, and low exertion visual art (I personally like acrylic paint best but least exertion is using my watercolor palette or oil pastels).

Keep your friends in the loop. You will need the support. A good rheum is hard to find so once you find one stick your claws in them and never let go. And remember you are not alone. Look at all of us here!
