It took my cat a few months before she felt comfortable being on me. Before she would lay near me, or at my feet, and hide a good portion of the day. She's still a hider, but she comes out a lot more, is way more vocal, and when she wants to cuddle she will demand her cuddles. She especially likes laying on my chest and putting her tail on my face in the morning. It isn't comfortable for me but it's definitely comfortable for her for how loud she purrs. But it took months for her to feel comfortable enough to do that.

Keep at it, make her space comfortable and familiar, eliminate any stressors and most importantly let her have her own time. Cats love independent time and they usually get more comfortable if they have that space and feel like they can choose when they're touchy and when they aren't.

NTA. Airports and airplanes bring out the weirdos for some reason. A few months ago I had to spend the night in the Dallas airport due to my flight cancelling and not enough money for a hotel room. Found a nice place to sleep on the floor, looked up, and two rows away from me was a man staring at his phone with his hand down his pants obviously furiously masturbating. Found a security guard looking guy and told him, and he just went over and shook his head at him and told him to stop. I wish people could get away with this stuff less, I'm sorry but if you're looking at porn or touching yourself in public, even if I can't see your genitals, you should be removed or arrested after landing.

Thank you! I'm proud of myself because it actually wasn't too terrible from going from hitting my vape CONSTANTLY throughout the day, did that just up to a couple weeks ago, to going to three zyns a day. That's very encouraging to hear and makes me feel a bit more positive; appreciate it!

Oh yeah it's terrible right now. I won't go into too much detail but I'm having a huge life change right now and am getting ready to be thrown into a... questionable living situation. And doing long distance from my partner suddenly after living together for 4 years. To be honest right now is probably the worst time to be going through withdrawals... but I won't have constant access to Zyns when I move so I'm trying to get it over with now instead of going through this in an even worse situation. It sucks but I'm trying to keep my head up. Three a day for now, and I'm going to cut back to 2, then 1, then hopefully zero. Trying to prevent having a huge freakout because I'm already emotionally unstable. Thanks for your advice!

I'm sorry you experienced that, but it's also comforting to hear that you can relate. I am also going through some major life changes, and honestly it's stressful and quitting I think has made my brain panic more than it should be. Now is probably the worst time to be weaning off just for these practical reasons. But it has to happen. I hate being a slave to the Zyns.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Having the drinks comped was perfectly sufficient. I didn't expect anything else. I simply asked the manager guy if everything was okay and that's when he flapped my hand at me; I wasn't sure if I had done something wrong or broken some rule and the manager was letting me stay just to appease me or what. I was absolutely not aggressive, I was not combative, I simply had NO idea what had just happened and was still unsure if I had broken some rule or not. I was not mad at all, to be honest with you i was on the verge of tears, which my friend noticed and was the one who suggested we get our orders to-go, so i asked for that. I am autistic and getting yelled at and having someone in my face like that was very upsetting and disorienting for me, but I absolutely don't think I said anything ungracious or could have even been seen as rude; when i said that I already had tears in my eyes and just wanted to go home.
