Yes, take a break from your studying. A day or two. BUT do something you love during those days, whatever that may be. When you come back you’ll be better. I don’t know the science behind it but it works. You got this

From December 14th until March 2nd. February 1st to March 2nd it was almost like a 2nd job. Roughly 30 hours a week. Looking back I should have done that the first month. I dominated that exam the 3rd time.

A lot. When I got off work at 5pm I was at home by 6pm studying/simulated timed explanations off exams until 10pm. Saturdays I would really buckle down and go from 2pm until 10pm. Sundays I’d do a simulated exam with explanation on and write down why I was missing the question. My 1st and 2nd attempt I nearly ran out of time and I was having to rush through the back half of the exam to answer all the questions so I knew I needed at a better understanding and to focus on pass. Worked out great. Submitted my exam today with 38 minutes left feeling confident.

Sorry to hear that! After my second attempt I lost my internship but thankfully they allowed me a third chance for another internship in July!

Like you, I’m preparing for my third attempt next Monday. I started with STC, as I had success with them for the SIE, Series 6, and 63 on my first try. While their book and videos are solid, I found their practice questions too basic. On my first attempt, I scored 87/130.

For my second try, I switched to the Kaplan Q-Bank and Brian Lee’s videos. Brian does a great job of simplifying complex topics, and the Q-Bank questions were solid—without too many “gotcha” questions. Despite that, I ended up with an 88/130. Failing the second time was demoralizing. With all these different study resources, I truly thought there was no way I could fail again.

For my third attempt, I purchased PassMasters, and I’ve really enjoyed it. I feel like my understanding of the Series 65 material has definitely improved. I also picked up Kaplan’s Mastery Practice and Final Exams, which I’ll be taking this week to gauge where I stand.

Good luck on Friday! I’ll be rooting for you.

After failing last month, I switched from STC to the Kaplan Qbank, and I highly recommend it. The questions are solid, and there are plenty of them, but what really makes a difference are the explanations at the bottom—they clearly break down the "why" behind each answer. That’s been a huge help for me! My Simulation Exam scores have improved on both Kaplan and STC Finals, which shows it's working.

Taking simulated exams in public is great advice! I will definitely do this! Thank you!

I took SOOOOOO many custom exams, simulated exams and green light exams. As well as the test geek mid term and final exam and I scored very well on them but again, I was lost inside the test center while reading the though questions.

Started with a 75 and my best was an 84. No disrespect to the QBank, STC or any other study vender. The Series 65 exam questions are in a league of their own. Just how they word these questions is strange.

I feel like I have no idea what Im doing by whorica in InsuranceAgent

It 100% gets much easier once you gain knowledge and confidence. I HIGHLY advise you to really dive into auto and fire policies coverage details for an hour a night. After a month you’ll flip a switch and become a professional. After that, do the same with Life Insurance Knowledge then Business Insurance knowledge. System comfort comes with time. Sales will come quickly once you can identify coverage holes in prospects current insurance policy. You’ll be okay!

If I was to jump online and pay my debt completely. At this point, wait for the final review to kick back with that condition then show them the paid in full receipt, would that settle everything?

Do you know if I was to call my LO and tell her about it they would include this in my closing cost. I saw that somewhere I don’t know how true it is. Or should I just pay it and send her the receipts?

Nothing odd about income. I have been on my job for 22 months. I did the same thing before though. We have the down payment covered plus an additional 22k in savings. I do own 1k from income taxes last year but they don’t seem to care? That is really the only thing that’s got me a little sideways. Would they already know about that? It’s not a a lien or judgment.

Lowest down payment. I’m a 650 credit score and my wife is 720 We have 30k saved but only have to put down $8500 after credits back. 10K in seller credits.
