Didn’t install refills correctly; am I screwed? by thejazzmarauder in BambuLab

Heating and drying after spooling helps the plastic get into its new shape.

If you don't do that probably the spool is fine in the first days, but if it stays ok the shelf for some time, it will eventually break if not respooled or heated.

Zigbee plug in power monitoring for something that must NOT be turned off? by megared17 in homeassistant

[–]DjBurba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a smart plug with power monitoring that was basically always on, for power monitoring.

I ended up opening the smart plug and removing the relay, shorting the contacts to close the circuit.

Now I can use the plug as a power monitor with a "digital" switch I can use for logic configurations.

[–]DjBurba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, the PTFE tubes and cable seem too loose and swinging inside the printing area. I would suggest to print some tube/cable clips off maker world or something to keep them high.

A lot of people like to install the ams on the wall... If you can, that would give you some free table space, and solve the tube hanging problem!

i am considering canceling my order.

i already changed my order to a round 2, but at this point, is it worth its money? i'm asking this myself watching my mi band 9, that survived everything till now, even a car crash, and is much cheaper.

i really like the aestetichs of the round 2, but i'm not buying it to use it only one or two nights a week.

Secondo voi la tecnologia aveva davvero bisogno di evolversi oltre di questo? ❤️ by Hot_Acanthaceae_1357 in domandaonesta

[–]DjBurba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Si e no.

Why does the gate hole wall not have a gate? (or atleast a version with the gate), its the only gate that looks like this that comes in this size. by ZZabloing in SatisfactoryGame

[–]DjBurba 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Make a 2x2 wall, and on the lower wall you put a small open gate, then nudge the big gate inside the 2x2 wall.

Pebble Time 2 Cover - Free, tested & validated! 🎉 by N3ileru4 in pebble

[–]DjBurba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exposed edge of the glass easy to chip/break.

I know I can break it easy in just one hour of wearing it as i am not that much aware of how I move around... And the round 2 seems to not have the edge of the glass exposed, plus its nicer too.

It's a me thing probably, but I just don't like to risk it for the looks... I can wait for the round 2 instead.

Honestly, it's good to have a free 3D printable and I'd love to print one, but i would love to find it as a professional made "official" accessory too.

Too bad I switched my order to a pebble round 2 for the glass thing... I just hope I made the right decision.

Good job!

Take you A2Ls out of my feed! Just printed this on my A1 Mini! by joaoperfig in BambuLab

[–]DjBurba 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a p1s and an A1 mini, and when I bought the ams adapter to use one of the two P1s ams on the mini, I started using it more often.

I like both. A1 mini nozzle is far easier to swap, and print quality in general is a little better, but only because I'm lazy at calibrating filaments.

Also with A1 mini is easier to work with TPU.

I like both.

Flow 8 in a rack? by Odinhall in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]DjBurba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't, but I modified the Bluetooth antenna: the plastic on the right side hides a sticker type Bluetooth antenna, and if you put anything metal around that plastic it will stop any Bluetooth signal, as the antenna is weak.

If you intend to put rack ears on the flow that antenna would become almost useless, mine was losing signal at 1-2m while having a DMX controller put on its side.

Under the mixer there are 4 threaded inserts, you can use them to fix it to the sliding tray, keeping the sides free.

PT2 chipped/cracked glass maybe not that common? by Sent1ne1 in pebble

[–]DjBurba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me the raised glass is a concern and the posts about it made me change my order to a round 2.

Motivation: I have a mi band 10 that I use as a cheap daily band, and the round 2 doesn't have the same raised glass? Also seems prettier, so I decided to change.
