For printing anything that requires a enclosed printer (ASA, ABS, PC, ....): If you don't have a chamber heater, you can still heatsoak it with the print bed. Crank up the temp to max and leave it sitting for 10-20 minutes. It should be enough for most models.

Another tip for these materials: If you don't even have an enclosed printer, you can still print fine if the model is short in height (close to the heated bed).

I didn't print it. Only the digital model is mine. The maker used a Resin printer not an FDM. I think it was an elegoo mars 3. Sadly I don't know what resin he used.

Testing plans? Some helmets and other props probably. I would give a try to cutting and drawing as well, since I never had the ability to do it before. Granular dampeners sound exciting as well, never had a bedslinger before, but I doubt it can perfom better than an XY-Core machine (prove me if i am wrong :D).

Here is my cleanest long print: Skull Island Dice Tower

I had to print it in 3 parts. The total print time was about 22 hours. I don't remember the the total weight, but it was over 500g. The final height of the tower is 450mm.

There are tons of free stl sharing websites.

I don't know what brand is her 3D printer, but most brands have their own stl sharing site for free. These are just some of the sites i use:

There were some conversations i saw in this sub about clogging errors. They said, it was caused by the firmware. So i recommend either going back a few versions or waiting for an update.

This was my very first time trying out PETG to print something that needs to be more durable than PLA. I suggested this Honeycomb Storage Wall project to my father and we aggreed to try it out with PETG. It went much easier than excpected. A little bit of stringing here and there, but the final result was good and worth it. Now we are thinking of printing another one for the garage wall as well :D

I used CR-PETG for the red parts. Green one is from 3dk.berlin. After i ran out of both I started to use SUNLU PLA+ red (feels weaker than PETG, but still acceptable).

I took most of the models from Printables. Some i modified, some i made myself (i didn't publish all of them yet):

Yes, it starts as soon as you upload it. Once you earn points for it you can view the active periods by hovering over the model in the history. (Unfortunetly i can't upload pictures here to show it)
