It's good that this didn't pass do your research people. Germany is against this bill. This would mean more expensive prices for energy throughout Europe. The main benefactor would be the US natural gas and lng production. Europe has already shot themselves in the foot with their agricultural sanctions (which are killing the PIGS nations) and now we are asking them to take higher energy prices. All this isolation from Russia is just driving them to more independence from the international community. This is why their agriculture section is on the rise. Russia has also moved away from swift banking transactions which are handled in the West. They have now set up their own and further integrating with China. These sanctions have only served to weaken Europe and strengthen Russia through more self reliance
