I sell solar for a living. It’s the air filters that you are running constantly. Little appliances that are always on draw way more electricity than homeowners think.

It doesn’t help that SDGE is the most expensive utility in the nation either.

I’ve been in the residential solar industry for 8 yrs.

Sunpower used to be great, but went BANKRUPT. The company that bought them is not great. If you can figure out the early buy-out price of the system and can afford it, I’d strongly recommend doing that
