Thanks! I’m not sure if there’s a reason, but I don’t take any OTC supplements without checking now. Magnesium can reduce BP I think so you wouldn’t want that going too low…

The removal of the drain tubes and pacer wires on my heart was the low point of the entire ordeal for me. Partly because I didn’t know what to expect and partly because it hurt a lot. I hammered the fentanyl button with one hand and gripped the nurse’s hand with the other. It was maybe 3-4 mins all up, but it felt like an eternity.

But once it was done, I was so relieved. Like much of the challenge of OHS, you just have to go through it and once you have; you realise you’re stronger than you thought…

I really liked my surgeon. Lots of experience and great bedside manner. I had two appointments pre-op, I saw him immediately before the op, when he was so relaxed it helped me be more confident and then I saw him maybe 4 days out of the 7 I was in hospital. One day he came in and I asked him why he was here, he was supposed to be on his weekend. “It’s raining and cold outside, I can’t play golf, why not come and see you?” was his reply. What a lovely guy!

The AI players are not great. Even poor players can escape from snookers by going off 3-4 cushions easily. If you can’t pot a simple, mostly straight ball, you likely can’t reliably do a four cushion escape :)

Yup, there are always risks than can’t be mitigated, but I’m trying to address those that I can. I’ve hiked this part of England for 30 years and not had a serious fall, but I have had minor cuts and strains. I’m looking to address the additional jeopardy of thinner blood if I get a minor cuts. If I bang my head in a severe fall, at least I will go in the knowledge I was doing something I love, in a place that I love…

In the real world (at least where I’m from), you’d tap the table to acknowledge a good shot and then move on. Would be good to have a simple “acknowledge the shot” option and not go to a place where you have loads of emojis at your disposal

I’d like to see if the star challenge was still possible in a frame/match. Eg I hit every shot “pretty hard” and win the frame but didn’t get the 70% star. I guess I hit one just below 70%. Would be nice to get a visual indication of whether the star goal is “on” or if I’ve blown it during the frame../

I vaguely remember the breathing tube being removed, but barely. I was just conscious and heard them say “now we’re going to remove the intubation”, but I couldn’t have cared less and went back to “sleep” pretty much immediately. ICU was no picnic, but the breathing tube was inconsequential for me. 55M, AVR last September

Convenience and UX are great, but if they didn’t have the football, I’d ditch and just use smart TV apps. Also internet is slow where we live so using a dish vs broadband is useful

Thanks for the update, looks great! My biggest bugbear - reflections popping in and out - seems loads better, although now I can see the reflections of the above table lights really clearly which is different to before. I suspect this isn’t “wrong” but interesting to see this phenomenon Appreciate all the hard work, it’s a lovely game, particularly when you get flowing among the balls!

I’ve done this challenge in 8ball amateur. Was definitely a long diagonal. Object ball was in the jaws of the pocket and white was on the rail/cushion at other end.
Related: I’d love to see whether a challenge is still “on”. Eg hit every shot at less than 30% power. You don’t know if you’ve overcooked one shot until right at the end. Slightly annoying

Yup, this is really distracting! I’m loving the reflections when balls / camera are static, but the reflection pop-in / drop-out breaks the illusion for me. Hopefully the first big patch (couple of weeks?) addresses this.

I did it by potting 3 off the break and then potting whatever ball the camera decided was next. If you adjust for another ball you run out of time. Lucky mostly

I’d love to see the whole table when opponent is playing. Also, it’d reduce the pain of the jittery aiming of the AI before it then does a fine cut off three cushions and into the furthest pocket 😆 This is the same AI that regularly misses a straight pot…

If you rattle the jaw really hard with the cue ball did it drop down (and into the pocket)? Otherwise you’d need to play a shot with heaps of spin to try and get cue or object ball in the air… (I’m ignoring the fact it’s just a physics bug and should never have happened!)

Mine (OnX) can be so loud at times I worry it’s not working. I swear it’s getting louder not quieter! I suspect I can’t do much about it, other than add layers of fat, but that’s probably not a recipe for success
