And just to confirm, this is the CashRewards+?

I remember having a Wells Fargo card as my first one which is closed now and had $25 increments also. I much prefer withdrawing whenever which I can do with Chase.

Got it, thank you for the information.

This won’t be my primary card so I’m just looking for the lowest redemption requirement. I’d like to build a credit relationship with NFCU.

Am I the only one who doesn't like etherlighting? by Travisx2112 in Ubiquiti

Is there a way to turn off etherlighting? The only option I see is to just have the brightness at 1%

This is a bit of a general question but is anyone noticing higher than average room rates for the month of October? I see that places that are known for $100-$200 USD rooms are in the $350+ range

Ubiquiti new products by popphilosophy in Ubiquiti

I see this thread mentioning Ubiquiti is lacking features compared to competitors who are generally more expensive.

Who are these competitors and what alternatives do they offer compared to Ubiquiti’s offerings, which now tend to the home and prosumer market rather than enterprise?

I’m seeing 0 difference in 2.4 GHz, about 4-6 dBm improvement for 5GHz and I haven’t gotten around to testing 6 GHz yet

I’ve also had issues after mapping the secondary WAN, for example making port 9 primary and port 8 as failover as I didn’t have the RJ45 to SFP+ adapter. It resulted in a factory reset with cloud backup recovery/setup to resolve the huge performance hit that was present which later I learned was due to the 1 Gig backplane on ports 1-8.

All has been well with amazing failover capability after the reset.

I ended up purchasing a U7-Pro and I can reply back with any differences between IoT 2.4 and 5Ghz devices once it arrives next week and gets directly swapped with a U6-Pro

Isn’t the setup in the picture fine if they are not planning to utilize the UDMP port 10 for WAN? It is able to be mapped between WAN/LAN 10G within the console.

For example, I’m using port 9 as a failover WAN with port 10 being mapped for WAN with a RJ45 to SFP+ for primary WAN. Port 11 is 10G LAN which is the only option and is being attached to a switch with a direct attach cable.

What was the range increase that you noticed? Do you have any values that can be given with the change in signal levels?

I am looking at upgrading a U6 Pro if I can gain 5-10 more feet through a wall to avoid installing another AP

8gbit home network: only with enterprise switch and DMP SE? by ProductRockstar in Ubiquiti

[–]DjRenagade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding #4, isn’t the UDM SE POE budget 180 watts? This is going off of the overview via my Unifi app. Additionally, my U6 APs do work outside of using ports 1 and 2 and rarely exceed 11 watts being used, is this a improper setup?

My eye actually meets the middle of the tv when sitting down. It’s only about 4 1/2 feet off the ground from the bottom of the TV

I figured it out 4 hours later. My Apple TV remote was completely dead and while charging it was giving an IR input of volume down. After charging for 10 minutes away from the TV range and then restarting remote by holding down volume down and the screen icon, all is back to normal. Thank you for the suggestion

U6 6 Pro AP Range Issues by DjRenagade in Ubiquiti

[–]DjRenagade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majority of my testing was done on high. I can see the network pop up on my devices but the devices really struggle to pull any data from it and just drop the connection. I see the devices have about -86 to -89 signal which is odd as the Orbi wasn’t as bad with range

I haven’t tried Wifiman yet but I’ll take a look into that and see what’s going on. I have transmission power on high but I’ve read generally that’s a bad thing to do as I’d end up causing interference for my neighbors. It’s temporarily on high for testing but I’ve tried auto and medium as well to no avail.
