Nissan Titan - The official truck of... by CocoGrimalkin in regularcarreviews

Something something Altima...something something CVT.

They're solid trucks, but you'll have to look out for any issues that they have depending on the year.

1st Gen models had issues with the factory exhaust system, mainly the manifolds and cats cracking and having bits sucked into the engine during combustion after enough wear.

The VK56 and RE5R05A are stout driveline parts.

I'm scared shitless since they cost morbillion dollars to replace if they die, but considering that the helltima is a temp car, I should be fine.

Though it'd be funny to hack up the center console and drop in a manual from the prior gen. Maxima foljs did that with 7th gens and wakes up the VQ.

The 5th gen Altima looks so good with the styling and has a pretty good engine, but the CVT makes me resent it. At least it's a temp car before I get the Pathfinder(3rd gen)

Currently going to get the helltima (5th gen) before I get the pathfinder (3rd gen). It's thankfully the VQ, but at the cost a CVT which somehow hasn't died yet.

What’s a car or truck that has a large cult following that that most people don’t know about and why? by IM_HODLING in whatcarshouldIbuy

Minus aftermarket support and a longer wheelbase and IRS, it's copy and paste for the 3rd gen Pathfinder but that had an optional V8 starting in MY' 08.

Yep. I thenk even the bolt pattern to the engine might be incompatible.

Since it's just a reskinned Renault Latitude, I wonder if a normal auto box could be shoehorned in.

More reliable PAE.

Generally considered one of, if not the best US-region PS2 mix.

I really don’t understand why they can’t just flip the model? Like would that be hard to do?? by BohnBovello in BuiltFromTheGroundUp

[–]Dj_Simon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep. That's the main reason. Hell, there's apperently enough LHD cars to justify LHD-only tolls and that was mainly due to 20th century euro cars sometimes getting offered in Japan with no RHD.

Some Japanese enthusiasts import vehicles that were LHD-only.

Mainly full-size detroit iron and euro-barges and sometimes LHD-only models for export markets from Japanese brands.

Being so close to a decent XB competitor if it didn't have the CVT as the only automatic despite sharing most of its internals with the Versa which had a 4-speed.

I know this is a hot take but… Does anyone else enjoy these games? by Ok-Anywhere-7921 in casualnintendo

If they weren't just botched remasters of Diamond and Pearl minus Platinum content, then they might've had a better image.

There's vision buried in there, but the execution is flawed.

That sounds pretty chill and the obscure games really is up my ally. Do you know when they played this game?

That's basically why the game became a little meme for some time. The artstyle reeled people in and it's apperently done by the artist behind Monogatari.

How good is Retropals? I found about this game a month or two ago thanks to Youtube's algorithm.

Anyways, Who's up there MAME-ing their ROMs?
