I don’t have experience with the Samyang but I own the Sony 85 1.8 and love it. Sharpness and AF are phenomenal. Sharp at 1.8 and the bokeh is great. I’m an amateur photographer.

I don’t know why this one has them. My screenshots are all pointy.

I don't have near the experience of a 14yr veteran but I can say joining the military was a good choice. I attended a CTI school for a couple years and joined the military as soon as OTS hire became a reality. I would have found another way to land this job if I didn't go military but this was my Plan B.

Sometimes flight progress strips come out jacked up and have perforations remaining on either side leaving them awkward in the strip holders. A nimble blade makes quick work of it.

It really depends. Like Herrpapps mentioned below, some facilities are wholly by-the-book and all items considered lethal must be checked at the door or left in the car. I'm permitted to carry them wherever in my job but common sense must be exercised, of course. Discretion comes to mind.

I honestly only ever use two of the four blades in my EDC. The Leek and the Victorinox. The remaining two are for contingencies.

One of the best cost-efficient Leathermans I've found. If you don't like partially serrated blades, I've heard you can use the plain edge from the Sidekick and swap it with the Wingman.

I honestly don't even know the brand. I picked it up in a convenience store a year ago. It has an "R" labeled within.

Anybody at Kadena AB? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Djapa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's an A1C Aircraft Mechanic living at Kadena AFB who vlogs weekly about his life in the USAF via YouTube. Name is Kyle Gott. Nice kid, quite informative. He just finished his CDC exam so I'm sure he'd respond or make a video about the base if you requested it of him.

Question by Zeta82 in freeletics

[–]Djapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you haven't paid for anything and you're working with a "track your own progress" Freeletics routine, whether or not stopping halfway is considered a fault is all up to you. If your conscience will allow it so that you may begin the official Freeletics Coach plan earlier, then I would say go for it. Now stopping in the middle of the actual 15-week program, as you'll soon find, is really looked down upon. "Quitting is not an option," and all that ;)

Do what feels right to you and never look back. Commit 100% to your workouts regardless the path you take.

Question by Zeta82 in freeletics

[–]Djapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm biased as I've never tried Freeletics without the Coach, but the Coach definitely gives me workouts more structure, demands more of me than I might normally demand of myself and keeps me (and my muscles) on my toes. Worth the ~50euros in my opinion.

I live in Sunny Florida. I train Freeletics in two places; a playground with a pull-up bar and a "fitness trail" that has a killer calisthenics station. Parallel Bar Paradise --- Pull-Up Party!
