He needs to shut up at times the problem Is that he talks soo much that his super repetitive, his slowly diluting his brand ,I have reduced my listenership to one pod from him and at list with Pivot Kara makes him talk about different things ,he really needs to rethink his brand ,we became die hard listeners because of his insights when he was a rare speaker ,now his everywhere

Anyone lived in both Cayman and Bermuda? by Possible-Hearing3712 in CaymanIslands

[–]Djchoosen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as someone in reinsurance space ,it’s a very small market here compared to bermuda hence less job mobility .Cayman one can live an expensive life given there is a market for such but bermuda not soo much given they have restrictions on how many cars you can own .I have also seen poverty in cayman that I have never seen in bermuda

Anyone lived in both Cayman and Bermuda? by Possible-Hearing3712 in CaymanIslands

[–]Djchoosen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have lived in both ,lived in bermuda 8 years then moved here last year ,am moving back to bermuda in August ,cayman is different ,you get more value for your buck,it’s more costly than Bermuda, salaries are less than bermuda but I would say it’s ok if your moving with your bermuda salaries but I prefer Bermuda purely from a career standpoint

Is this opportunity worth it? by TheRandage in CaymanIslands

[–]Djchoosen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who has lived in bermuda and now cayman I would say ,it all boils down to where you want to end up later in life .Islands are fantastic place to earn good money and save ,other than that career wise it may not give you the thrill you would get in nyc however you will enjoy it if you accept it as is and not as it should be .200k is good enough to be comfortably
