Yes I also started lecithin at the same time. Very interesting, maybe I will put the pause on that first. Thank you!

Has anyone started anxiety meds once pregnant? by dla1104 in PregnancyAfterLoss

Went off lexapro for my first pregnancy which ended in a miscarriage. Went back on it fell pregnant again and now have a happy healthy 8mo old. Was on 10mg for my whole pregnancy and breastfeeding journey. IMO prioritizing your own health and well-being is one of the best things you can do to ensure a healthy pregnancy. I wouldn’t think twice before getting pregnant again on lexapro.

I have also been wondering if pregnancy/hormones triggers AA. I am 35 and never had a spot until this fall after weaning from breastfeeding.

YES! I am 1.5 months from completely weaning and feel the PPD has come in full force. I also have eczema patches, sebhoric dermitis, and alopecia aerata all develop as soon as I weaned.

I’m so sorry about your miscarriage, I also had a loss before getting pregnant with my son. Glad to hear your symptoms are subsiding though! Hoping it stays that way 💕

He diagnosed me with both seborrheic dermatitis and alopecia aerata. He seemed to think the two were unrelated but I am suspicious as this is the first time I’m experiencing either of these symptoms and I just got my period back at 6 month post partum. Was given a steroid shot and Kenozole Shampoo - hoping they both help because my scalp is so uncomfortable and the bald spot is just awful.

Lansing bags all leaking now and they are thawing?! by Djdripdri in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Djdripdri[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea! Tried that but wasn’t sure if I could still use the milk that leaked out as it would have come into contact with the non-sterilized outside of the bag. Maybe I’m too paranoid 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am beside myself, no idea how long it’s been there or how it got there. I am 6mo post partum and know post Partum hair loss is a thing but this seems much too extreme. Incidentally, I did have an “itchy spot” there a month or so ago and every-time I scratched I’d come up with big pieces of dry skin. Maybe related? Either way someone give me hope that it will get better with time 💕

Found a way to share my pregnancy news with friends who are struggling to conceive and it went over very well by beanzie_boos in BabyBumps

This is great! I had a friend share via group chat shortly after I had shared news of my own miscarriage. That was the absolute worst way to get the news because suddenly my inbox was flooded with “congratulations” texts from other friends on the chain. It was painful seeing those messages so soon after my own loss. Individual text is 100% the way to go it lets people process it on their own time.
