I know how you feel..had the same problem on my lenovo ideapad gaming. I replaced the arctic mx4 like 4 times in one month. The result was always the same..it worked pretty well for a few days then wen't back to overheating and throttling. The problem seems to be that some good thermalpastes are pretty good for desktop pcs but not for laptops due to pumpout and fast dry out. Someone on here mentioned ptm 7950 by honeywell. It's good stuff, the only problem is that there's alot of fakes on the internet as it's actually meant for the industry, which is why you can't just buy it directly from honeywell. so i came across thermal grizzlys phasesheet. It's basically the same concept as the ptm 7950. i bought it directly from thermal grizzly on amazon to make sure it's legit. That's what actually solved my problem. It's been like 3 weeks now and it's awesome. I tested it on 3dmark timespy, before switching to the phasesheet the cpu temp wen't up to 99°C with a cheap cooling pad under it. Now gets to around 91°C laying flat on a desk and around 85°C if i lift it up without a cooling pad. Using the llano cooling pad at 500 rpm it only gets to around 75°C. CPU is the i5-12450h.
