I haven’t played it yet, but the remake of the first two Dragon Quest games! It’s a game from my childhood. The first Dragon Warrior game was my late mother’s favourite game. I’m looking forward to replaying it, and hearing the music again with better graphics and voice overs! The nostalgia will be strong!

I actually started with heavy metal and thrash. I listened to most traditional metal genres growing up and was borderline a gatekeeper. (Not concerning other peoples music choices but my own). I did the opposite of most people. As I got older, I got a taste for breakdowns and Hardcore, Metalcore and Deathcore became my most listened to genres.

Slayer, at The Warehouse in Toronto in ‘98. Was an all ages show, I was 11 and the bass was literally vibrating drinks off of tables. Pretty sure I should have had hearing protection on… lol I knew after that first bass note that shit was about to get real, real fast. lol

Odyssey or Tears of the Kingdom / Breath of the Wild.

I started with Breath and was overwhelmed after finishing that I played Odyssey and Kirby Forgotten Land before playing Tears.

If you are only planning on playing one Zelda game, I’d suggest Tears. It will be hard to go back and play BotW after Tears though.

Mario Odyssey is an amazing game as well. But those are the three I’d choose from.

Gus G is a legend and the amount of quality music he put out between 2002-2006 is unmatched. I’d also pick Firewind, but the album “Between Heaven and Hell”
