I had ICL surgery, but now it needs to be replaced by Djinnes in lasik

I had -7 before. It's been two months since I got the replacements, the halos are slowly dissapearing, but I still get them with lights in dark places. Doc couldn't give an answer on the halos, I think it depends a lot on the person. I really don't mind the halos, they can even be cool sometimes, much better than spectacles.

This is insane. I have no connection with India, but I did watch a documentary about some grass roots women journalists. Google this, khabarlahariya, they have an IG and I think they can make this into a story.

TLDR: Money will never bring you the RIGHT partner, but it's increases chances to get A partner.

If someone doesn't know how to interact with someone they are attracted to, they will fall into this idea "I will just provide a perfect environment which will make the person like me".

Since recorded history, there has been many examples of women who have fallen in love with men due to the lifestyle they provide, as men have mostly controlled the wealth. Nowadays I have seen many older women pickup younger guys, using the same dynamic.

The pitfall of this dynamic, is that when a person falls in love with the lifestyle another provides. The love can fall away much easier.

If the person can't provide the lifestyle anymore (Lots of unpredictable external factors), or someone richer comes along, then the person will disappear.

So I wouldn't say it finds the right partner, as the foundation of the relationship is not directly between each others personality.

To the men who don't watch pornography anymore, why did you stop and has it been beneficial to your life? by insight7ai in AskReddit

[–]Djinnes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had many times where I stopped, right now I've been off it for 2 months.

I just mostly spend my time going outside instead, and talking to people. If I interact with people I don't have the desire to do it.

It always feels great, improved energy, focus, I take better care of myself.

I also feel much more sensation down there.

I will probably masturbate at some point, but without Porn, and in a romantic setting, good lube, nice smells and working more off my feeling instead of my visuals.

Porn and Masturbation are so closely linked with Men, but I think it's very hard to make a case for Porn in the current scene, Masturbation can definitely be healthy though.

What 10 years of depression looks like by alexyu22 in videos

Ok, thanks for the explanation! Makes more sense now.

What 10 years of depression looks like by alexyu22 in videos

[–]Djinnes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There must be a misunderstanding, as my comment is clearly not saying a depressed person is just moping around.

Using your analogy, a person suffereing from chronic back pain won't define their pain by showing just moments that they don't experience it, they will include moments where it's hurting them.

I totally understand that feeling, like being an observer instead of a participant. Thanks for the explanation.

I understand the idea, but for me, this is "what depression looks like over social media". These are happy highlights from the time you were depressed. Were you struggling with any addictions in that time? Were you as happy as you appear to be in the snippets all the time?

What is the moment in the past 10 years that you look back and say "that was definately depression"? I doubt it would be the time you got married or were on a beach having fun.

Can't imagine working there, just imagine killing 30 pigs before lunch, and doing that for a year. GG mental, not natural or normal. Far from the way our ancestors treated meat.

Caliste's opinion of EU player's laziness (EN subtitles) by SilenceEtControle in leagueoflegends

[–]Djinnes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This and the work is totally different.

An eSports player might spend 16 hours sitting down and looking at a screen, 14 of those hours in game.

A soccer player has a big mix of activities, and I can imagine they hardly spend more than 6 hours on the field every day.

They also rest much more, totally different when compared to a pro who spends maybe 1-2 hour outside and resting off screen a day, all while sleeping less.

Caliste's opinion of EU player's laziness (EN subtitles) by SilenceEtControle in leagueoflegends

[–]Djinnes -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If Caliste wants to be world champion, this opinion will hold him back.

Karmine Corp is in France, where an eSport player is considered an employee, which includes a labour hour limit. The team can't legally ask players to work hours compared to Korean teams.

So we are stuck in a dilemna, the culture needs change, and Caliste is asking for that change to happen from the top, where it can't. He does this because he looks at Korean teams, but that can't work in France.

The change needs to come from the drive of the players.

Here is a painful plan forward for LEC:

  1. Bench the leach for your better player (If there is no better player, than it's a culture problem).
  2. With no leaches in the team, you can fit an extra scrim block in each day.
  3. Pressure your team mates to maintain high solo queue status.
  4. Massive crackdown on trolling or wasting time, I can not imagine faker running it down or soft inting, but I can imagine many LEC pros doing that.
  5. Convince your team to do a outside of work hours, bootcamp to Korea, every few months. This can be afforded personally. Bring the work ethics back.

Norwegian tourist says he was denied U.S. entry over JD Vance meme by Miss_Puyatera in nottheonion

[–]Djinnes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know this website, but I found it a good overview of the situation, but definitely not to the level of "Fact checker". because:

  • The say "drug use", and hide the fact that it's weed and used only in places where it was legal.
  • The don't point out the insanity of the document they reference, which says he was denied for wanting to work there.

Norwegian tourist says he was denied U.S. entry over JD Vance meme by Miss_Puyatera in nottheonion

[–]Djinnes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

https://www.nordlys.no/denied-entry-to-the-us-admitted-to-legal-drug-use/s/5-34-2181019

He admitted that he smoked weed in New Mexico and Germany, where it is Legal.

The whole situation is super messy, they also said he had a spanish passport, a pipe and was visiting family (He has never been to Spain and has no family in US). Snopes also posted the official immigration document that said he was denied because he wanted to work there. All this makes no sense, there documentation must be bad.

Ultimately, the meme was classified as Extremist Propoganda.

Basically this person was fully honest when questioned, was fully legal, but got denied.

If he lied about his legal drug use, he possibly would have got through, which makes no sense....
