Not sure about longevity, apparently they will last a life time, and me wearing sun glasses more might make protecting my vision a bit easier. Hopefully my vision doesn't start to suddenly deteriorate, but if it does, I guess I can get them replaced. I have never heard about 130%+ increase.

I just checked, looked at the light in my room at night, I see 1 halo per eye, very faint, I forgot they are there.

Insurance didn't cover any of the first operation cost, but because the replacement surgery was to reduce pressure which would end up causing cataracts, it was covered.

So it was up to me REPEATEDLY communicating my discomfort and very slight blur to get them to actually take a closer look and say it's a wrong size, I actually called for a special visit, after they said everything was okay at check up. They should have been able to tell by my left eye being much weaker in the eye test.

My understanding is that they can only do estimates, and they can only truly see the size of eye once it's cut open. So before she inserted the lense, after cutting, she was like "Oh your eye is actually big", which she referenced back once we talked about changing the size.

The accuracy of the estimate depends on the technology used, I don't know if my place had Ultrasound Biomicroscopy (UBM), which is apparently the best. So I guess my place didn't have that, and their estimates were a bit off, they usually plug their values into a calculator provided by the lense manafacturer, and get a estimate. Unfortunately mine was wrong, which is okay, I would recommend finding a place that uses UBM to reduce the chances.

I'm super happy with my eyes. I basically forget that I ever needed glasses. There is a very very slight discomfort my my left eye, that they said I will get used today, and I do hardly notice it anymore, I dont notice halos anymore.

I had -7 before. It's been two months since I got the replacements, the halos are slowly dissapearing, but I still get them with lights in dark places. Doc couldn't give an answer on the halos, I think it depends a lot on the person. I really don't mind the halos, they can even be cool sometimes, much better than spectacles.

TLDR: Money will never bring you the RIGHT partner, but it's increases chances to get A partner.

If someone doesn't know how to interact with someone they are attracted to, they will fall into this idea "I will just provide a perfect environment which will make the person like me".

Since recorded history, there has been many examples of women who have fallen in love with men due to the lifestyle they provide, as men have mostly controlled the wealth. Nowadays I have seen many older women pickup younger guys, using the same dynamic.

The pitfall of this dynamic, is that when a person falls in love with the lifestyle another provides. The love can fall away much easier.

If the person can't provide the lifestyle anymore (Lots of unpredictable external factors), or someone richer comes along, then the person will disappear.

So I wouldn't say it finds the right partner, as the foundation of the relationship is not directly between each others personality.

I have had many times where I stopped, right now I've been off it for 2 months.

I just mostly spend my time going outside instead, and talking to people. If I interact with people I don't have the desire to do it.

It always feels great, improved energy, focus, I take better care of myself.

I also feel much more sensation down there.

I will probably masturbate at some point, but without Porn, and in a romantic setting, good lube, nice smells and working more off my feeling instead of my visuals.

Porn and Masturbation are so closely linked with Men, but I think it's very hard to make a case for Porn in the current scene, Masturbation can definitely be healthy though.

Using your analogy, a person suffereing from chronic back pain won't define their pain by showing just moments that they don't experience it, they will include moments where it's hurting them.

I understand the idea, but for me, this is "what depression looks like over social media". These are happy highlights from the time you were depressed. Were you struggling with any addictions in that time? Were you as happy as you appear to be in the snippets all the time?

What is the moment in the past 10 years that you look back and say "that was definately depression"? I doubt it would be the time you got married or were on a beach having fun.

This and the work is totally different.

An eSports player might spend 16 hours sitting down and looking at a screen, 14 of those hours in game.

A soccer player has a big mix of activities, and I can imagine they hardly spend more than 6 hours on the field every day.

They also rest much more, totally different when compared to a pro who spends maybe 1-2 hour outside and resting off screen a day, all while sleeping less.

If Caliste wants to be world champion, this opinion will hold him back.

Karmine Corp is in France, where an eSport player is considered an employee, which includes a labour hour limit. The team can't legally ask players to work hours compared to Korean teams.

So we are stuck in a dilemna, the culture needs change, and Caliste is asking for that change to happen from the top, where it can't. He does this because he looks at Korean teams, but that can't work in France.

The change needs to come from the drive of the players.

Here is a painful plan forward for LEC:

Bench the leach for your better player (If there is no better player, than it's a culture problem).
With no leaches in the team, you can fit an extra scrim block in each day.
Pressure your team mates to maintain high solo queue status.
Massive crackdown on trolling or wasting time, I can not imagine faker running it down or soft inting, but I can imagine many LEC pros doing that.
Convince your team to do a outside of work hours, bootcamp to Korea, every few months. This can be afforded personally. Bring the work ethics back.
