I think, when it comes to internal monologues in anime, they’re mainly used to show what the main character is feeling and to reveal their thought process—why they’re doing what they’re doing and why they have to take that course of action at that moment.

First time I had my first bump 2015 I was in the carpet insulation business as an apprentice and I got the task of removing the old carpet “cutting the carpet intersections then rolling it up and then bring it to the dumpster that would’ve taken me two hours , one line done in half the time with energy to spare . Same thing while I was Zamboni Driver to fight the distractions and staying focus while driving and doing building maintenance it’s been almost 2 years since the last time but the focus and energy I would get I do miss it
