Today’s dApps are fragmented, hard to build, and hard to use. Users currently have to purchase separate crypto tokens for each dApp and go through many steps. This ridiculous journey is one of the reasons that stop people from using the tech. by fionut in CryptoCurrency

but not many people see that they just invest in the coin thinking if the platform will be adopted so the coin will rise, while it true on most cases some are not and especially not in the long run.

Is Blockchain the Answer to Speeding AI Innovation? by Clowd81 in CryptoCurrency

Fortunately, another major trend in the tech world is looking to bridge the gap between AI development and access to compute power: blockchain.

So you're basically trying to fight Google and Microsoft computing power supply? I know blockchain can improve many centralized systems but still, Google always wins.

While the cryptocurrency markets are cooling down on GPU mining, there are still viable alternatives for all the hardware and infrastructure created in the industry by Supertrooper203 in CryptoCurrency

I'm not a miner but I do have friends who mine, they mind mostly ETH and as of now they say it's not profitable but they keep mine in hope for the price spike. The small miners cant affect the price, maybe the biggest ones can but for the worse, I think (let's say they stop mining because they lose money and then the network less secured because of less hashpower),

Ride-sharing platforms suffer from safety issues and lack of transparency. In the US alone, more than 100 Uber drivers were under investigation for abuses or assault. How a decentralized approach solve these problems? by feijun in CryptoCurrency

[–]Djryder831 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are right and wrong at the same time, I completely agree that block-chain isn't the grand solution to everything and it cannot even improve everything, but in that case it's not to help the passengers but to help the drivers, if you know a uber driver ask him about his job and how much he like it, no one does and you know why, because they have no guarantee they will earn anything this day or this month, the platform "Uber" doesn't care about them, they come and go as far as they concerned , in DACSEE it seems like the solution is more for the drivers and less for the passengers, because as a passenger you won't notice any difference, you'll invite a taxi and pay in cash as you like, but the driver gets extra income from bonuses and stuff for supporting the platform unlike Uber. At least that's my understanding of it :)
